His Glassworks started as a hot glass shop in the early '80s creating paperweights and larger sculptural pieces.

They moved to laminated optical sculptures in the late '80s that required them to develop diamond laps to achieve a flatter surface for laminations than were possible with slurry grinding at the time. Once they developed these diamond laps they offered them to their other glassblower friends as well, and thus began His Glassworks' diamond tool division. Over the years they have grown their coldworking offerings as customers have requested items and they now have several thousand products and a small staff with well over 3 decades of coldworking experience.
