We had Five Star paint the outside of our house including the trim and some ornamental railings. They did a great job. Before they painted, they caulked all the cracks in the stucco as well as around all the wood trim. So when they painted there were no cracks or gaps visible. They also removed all the exterior lighting from the house before they painted. Other painting contractors said I wold have to do it myself. They also offered to put all the light fixtures back up, but I replaced them all so I took care of it myself (although they offered to put the new ones up for me). They started and completed the job on the days they said they would. Overall great experience.

Five Star Painting of San Marcos just took care of a large, exterior pergola "remake" and did a fantastic job. They were efficient, clean and on time. They needed to sand the wood, caulk cracks, secure bolt plates and paint with 2 coats. The color was much better than the tone that we had selected originally. I would highly recommend Dave and his crew. We plan to hire them the next time we need to have interior painting done.

Dave arrived on time for estimate and his crew was also punctual the entire week. Dave's quote for our large scale painting job was a great value. His crew is exceptional: professional, polite, tidy and friendly. Crew foreman, Oscar, is a gem. We appreciated their extensive attention to detail and the pride they take in their work shows. We highly recommend ProTect Painters and will call them again with our painting needs.
