The BEST JjamBong, Spicy Seafood Noodle, in SoCal. This JjamBong is cpmparable to ones found in Korea. I ordered SamSunJjamBong which comes with more seafood like shrimp, mussels, squid, and fish in generous portion. Everything was just perfect; the soup, vegetables, pork, seafood. When I took a bite on the shrimp, I just knew right away that this is genuine taste. Thank you to the owner/chef for serving such great food. I'm bringing my family there for feast next time.

A few years ago I used to go to this place religiously when I found it I took my entire family to dine in as the place is traditional inside which makes it an experience I would order for pickup at least three times a month or more and for a while it was great. Then the service became inconsistent dining in the order wasn't taken right the communication wasn't good and the food would come wrong particularly after we told them no onions do to allergies when the food had to be replaced the dishes came with smaller portions and attitude so we stop dining it then the same thing happened with takeout I take out order averaged 40 to $60 each time do the math 3 to 4 times a month so we stopped utilizing the restaurant for approximately two years about 3 weeks ago after a very busy weekend you're too tired to cook decided to order takeout to be delivered and we decided to give the restaurant a try again we ordered chicken curry and pepper beef along with a chow fun combination no onions the food was perfect so we were excited to possibly be able to dine with this restaurant again last week I order takeout for pick up my daughter and I again ordered the curry chicken and the chow fun and this time we ordered a shrimp dish and white sauce which is rather expensive the curry chicken was not the same as the time before and didn't taste as good the shrimp dish was perfect but sadly the chow fun rice noodles were grossly undercooked and hard the dish itself had hardly anything else in it it wasn't filled with the meats in the shrimp that have come in the past it was a dead dish it didn't even look appetizing my daughter and I both tried it but ultimately it ended up in the trash it's a shame because when they get it right it's really good but the problem is too many times they get it wrong and they are a medium priced place and they've been in that location a long time maybe they've just gotten complacent but I know we won't be patronizing again anytime soon

I went there recently but the last time I went it was about 4 years ago. My dad wanted to go because he remembers they serve big plates of food. So we went after our weekly walk. We entered the building and you can see that it’s been kinda a long time since they updated the place. We were welcomed nicely and quickly seated. As we walked I noted the floor was really sickly and with every step I took it made a sound. We sat in the really worn down booth bench. I rested my arm on the table and the table was also sticky probably because the coat of sealer on it was worn down too. Anyways we got service pretty fast and the owner was really kind. We ordered one boba thai ice tea and one without, shrimp fried rice, egg rolls, beef with broccoli and lettuce wraps. I took the one with boba. The food felt okay, it wasn’t good but the conversation I had with my family kinda made the food taste better. I stared at the art work and wondered how long it took to make ceiling. We ordered boxes and took our food. Once I was in the car going home, I heard my stomach growling as I drank from my boba Thai tea and the boba felt weird inside. It wasn’t squishy in the inside and felt like crumbs while the outside felt like normal boba should be. I got home and my stomach started to hurt. I curled into a ball in my bed for about 3 hours and I felt weak. I felt like I was going to faint. Then suddenly I felt my stomach kick and I ran to my bathroom and vomited four times. It burnt my throat every time, I thought it was over and I was glad that I got it all out of my system. But since I throw up my food and was under a lot stress that day with college work and my friends ignoring me for months now. I went crazy, I had a big panic attack/breakdown. My parents didn’t know what to do but they were hungry so we went out to get some pizza from Blaze pizza. We got there and I couldn’t control my emotions, I was angry, upset and I felt like I was never going to fell better. I ordered my pizza while half crying and trying to keep myself upright. I layed in the table as I finished my order and waited with my family at the table for our pizza. We got our pizza and people just stared at me because I was crying while eating pizza. My mother decided its best if we just go home and I get some rest. We went home and I fell asleep, I woke up drenched in sweat but I was okay. From now on I won’t step in a restaurant that lacks the energy to even clean up building because the food might even be worse. This is my review and I hope you guys didn’t get sick but if you do, I wish you the best of luck on the sick train. Good day ladies and gentlemen. No this isn’t a troll post, here’s my proof. The closest I can find to NYC style Chinese food. And the quickest, freshest service. Without exaggeration, I get my order within 5 to 7 minutes every time and you can hear it being made.UPDATE ****Since I wrote this 2 years ago, I wanted to update. They did a little remodel, nice floors and a few other touches. Same great food and fast made-to-order food!Current hours include a 9:30pm closing time Mon-Thu. (June 4, 2018).

Food is great, I eat here often, it is under new management, funny how the few bad reviews are people who only have one review to their name. One compares Chinese food to Thai food.... Hello they are different. I have tried most of the menu and have not been disappointed yet. Oh and to the guy complaining about no rice, did you order rice? They are not mind readers.

No stars for you. I ordered for pick up they said 10-15 min. I sat 30 min to wait at the place. When food arrived the man told me. Everything i ordered and gave me the bag. When i arrived at home no rice where to be found called the lady back she did not offer to send rice for delivery. Or a sorry shes not worth any stars. No class. Never again. God sees u 2

I have been ordering from Golden Sky for at least 5 years. The service is really quick and the food is always hot and delicious . I love reusing the great containers afterwards. I have never had a bad meal and I have ordered from them consistently usually on Sunday nights. Delivery people are always super nice. I really recommend this place and if you get a chance go into the restaurant. It's really nice.
