Normally a pretty smooth experience but not today. Short story: Two separate preorders, a convo with customer service, and THREE SEPARATE TRIPS to get what I needed. Long story: I couldn’t go myself so I thought, I’ll send someone and put in a preorder, quick and easy. I wish. I sent in my first order (after confirming exactly what they would need to pick it up on the sites FAQ’s) and made sure the person picking it up had the code and met the requirements. Then a while later I get a text from the person who’s supposed to pick it up for me that Livwell will not allow people to pick up orders that are not placed in their name. Not a huge deal as the person had other errands to run and was able to swing by again a short time later. I double checked the site and confirmed I had read it right the first time. I called customer service who confirmed that this issue was brought to their attn yesterday. The instructed me to place a new order in the name of the person picking up. This forced me to put all their personal info in and sign them up for rewards to get the price I was expecting to pay as per Livwell’s website. They are annoyed, I am annoyed, but whatever, we are supposed to have found a solution. So the person swings back by, waits for a notification, and not getting one, goes in to ask about the order. Livwell has no record of it. They text me and get ready to leave town, incredibly frustrated at this point. I call them and let them know they should also have received an email, which they check, and find, so they head back to wait in the regular line, which takes way longer and buy the stuff in the regular order that should have been ready in the online order Livwell said they didn’t have. I go to Livwell because it’s usually convenient and decent deals, but after today I will definitely not use their preorder again and if someone else in town has a WORKING preorder system, I’ll probably go there instead and you should too.
