Very popular, seems that you'll have to wait in line. Not everything is as it seems.I went there tonight as was recommended to me. I was looking for a great hard shell tacos. None to be found 😐I was very hungry and ordered.1. Carne asada burrito W/everything. Note: the tortilla was very thin and would not hold up to pick up Without falling apart. FlouryBland tasting without salsa. The salsa was the only thing to make it taste better.Meat cooked without seasoning, yuck!2. 2-tacos al pasture with carnitas.Same senario as burrito3. 1-sopas. Has beans and adds to dry meat.Same senario as burrito.4. Hochata- Good.5. Everything is bagged, no utensils, no napkins, grn salsa ok.My take on KING TACO?I WONT GO BACK. For everyone else who is missing a palette for Mexican food, good luck you don't have much experience and tasting good or quality Mexican food the right way.

I wanted to tell everyone that the management at King tacos are really making sure they follow rules to have no more then 10 people at a time and they are keeping the door close with a worker opening and closing the door. Gloves 🧤 are being used to handle the food and they are making sure to change Gloves every time they hand you something to you. They are making sure they have a space In Between each customer as you wait in line they have a really good set up for you to feel comfortable and safe to come and pick up food. Great job! This is just how I Felt coming in to pick up food here. Keep safe people

Im a frequent customer at king taco, i go probably 3 times a week. I usually order an al pastor Burrito and a side of carne asada as a snack for my puppies so we can all eat together. I always specify that the carne asada must be on the side. Today i asked the girl making my food if the asada was on the side and if my burrito had onion, the ticket said with everything! She said yes. When i got home, sure enough the carne asada had been put inside the burrito and it had no onion. Now i love king taco, i have been going since i was a kid. I moved to montclair 3 years ago and was so excited to find there was a king taco here. But they get my order wrong often a-lot, sometimes they give me a carne asada burrrito altogether, instead of al pastor, i hate carne asada!!! and frankly i am tired of this. I have thrown out my food several times because i dont like carne asada, this week they got my food wrong twice, my god! I when i called the manager he told me to save the burrito and he would replace it, really!!! This is BS. I don't ever write reviews and i have never complained to anyone at king taco, but this happens way to often and i am tired of this!

This place is gross the food has no flavor and they charge for salsa. The salsa is gross too. We got the nachos and I got carne asada tacos. I had to put a whole packet of salt just to eat it. The cheese on the nachos taste cheap and old. I think this place is busy because there is literally nothing else in the area. Its expensive and tasteless and I wouldn't come back or reccomend it.

Me and my family moved from Los Angeles county Lake Elsinore. And would love to have a King Taco closer to our home. There is great space for one off of Riverside Drive and Collier Street . I love tacos and I was very disappointed with the quality of King Taco. The tortillas were dry, the meats (carne asada, pastor, carnitas) were dry. Only two choices of salsa, red Chipotle or green with a lime taste. No radishes, grilled onions, limes or pickled carrots. You stand in a long line to order, wait for your number to be called and go to a section to pick up, only 2 sauce's per 3 tacos allowed. This is NOT the King Taco I remember from East L.A. the tiny hole in the wall joint or small business taco stands truly out taste King Taco in food and service.

My very first time having kind taco... and was so good!!! We got lucky as it wasn't too busy, but as soon as we sat with our food, the line was out the door. Now I know why. Had the chicken and carne asada tacos. My husband had the chicharrone tacos, and he said they're sooo good. Had a delicious pineapple drink. Will def be coming back!

I really don’t know why the hype exists for this place. Mediocre at best mexican food it’s not that great salsa sucks. They don’t have limes or any condiments for the food. Salsa is extra if you ask for another container the meat isn’t that great either. I wouldn’t come back or recommend eating here, there’s better small tacos in little shops than this.

Extremely fast service. I've never been here so i was honestly shocked. We didn't even get to sit down before they had called our number. The food was very good. Would I say traditionally mexican? No. But very good nonetheless. Beware you have to show your number when your food is ready. This is the place to go on your lunch break. You can eat and still have time left.

My kids love this place but they got me good tonight. My burrito was the size of a frozen burrito in the grocery store, literally!! To add insult to injury my shell was rock hard and smaller then the usual shells. They were super crowded so I honestly think they ran out and had to use just anything. Worst experience ever. Too much money for this mess.
