This was my first visit to the restaurant. I was very impressed with this place. They were very pleasant and friendly, the wait for my order was not too long and the food was positively delicious. I am wry happy to have found this authentic Jamaican restaurant and I will definitely visit again. Do check it out when you’re in the area.

Hate to say this because I wanted to support but it is what it is. Had a really bad experience with LKJR today. First the phone was not working, which was frustrating. Last time I ordered online, but I was told the system was down and my order was never received, so this time I used Door Dash. The food came and the cocao bread was VERY stale. Hard even. I opened the curry chicken and to my surprise there was only chicken, no rice, cabbage or plantains. All the things in the photo of the dish online. I was shocked! I expected the whole meal. Then to top it off, I found hair in my food. This was really bad, I'm honestly disappointed and would like my money back.

Food was very good. Oxtails were flavorful and tender. I ordered the brown stew lunch and a side of oxtails. Great deal for the price you pay! ($7.50) Customer service was great and service was fast. This was the first time I ate there usually I take me food to go. I would say I was a bit uncomfortable eating there because it was disturbing warm and a hot day. I couldn't wait to leave get some relief. It was just too warm in there on a warm day the temperature inside should have been much cooler. Other than that I love this place, I will return and I highly recommend.

This restaurant is my preferable restaurant. Of all restaurants I know I love it most. I never miss an opportunity to go to this restaurant. everytime I want to go to a delicious lunch, this restaurant comes straightaway to my mind. extremely good and many types of food and a rich menu.helpful staff members, and great spirit. Also important, the bill is decent. I recommend this restaurant with no doubt.

I've been a regular customer at this restaurant for a while. I've been to Jamaica many times, and I really like their food. The people are extremely nice, good ownership. I was enticed by the smell of their jerk cooking next door at the gas station, and I'm certainly happy that I found this place! Very tasty food, their patties, jerk chicken, jerk pork, and escovitch have all been very good. It is a little on the expensive side but not terrible. I recommend this rather than any of the other Jamaican restaurants in the area.

Food is great. But please listen. DO NOT order from this restaurant with Uber eats. I ordered from here twice with Uber eats. The first time it took the food almost two hours to get there. Thankfully My Uber drive waited for the food to finish. The second time I ordered they gave me the wrong order. At times they can be very unprofessional. But if you want some good Jamaican food this is the best spot in L.A. .... P.S make sure you go to the restaurant and order so if any issues come up you can settle it then and there

DONT GO if you LOOK or are BELIZEAN. I went there twice and received horrible service. They did not want to take my order. I never thought I would expirence DISCRIMINTION from my OWN people. I’m NOT even BELIZEAN. They thought I was and treated me second classThe actual owner is cool but they employees have something against belizeans.

I purchased a large cow foot soup and a large curry goat on Saturday. The soup taste very good and I gave the taste of the soup an "A", but the Curry Goat needed more spice and it had no pepper. It is a must to flavor Jamaican Curry Goat with pepper no matter who you are cooking for. Curry Goat gets a "F" for failure because it needed more spice. The steam cabbage was too soft. Good cooks know that steam vegetables should be slightly crunchy and it had way too much black pepper. I would only buy soup again if I was to return to Little Kingston to dine.

The food is absolutely divine! Really great! My only complaint would be the customer service. Don’t get me wrong, I frequent this place...but I always leave feeling very undervalued. When my order has been wrong, or I’ve had to wait a looong time, or couldn’t get anyone to pick up the phone, or was on hold for 20 minutes before hanging up, it’s been very frustrating. Again, I love the food - so much respect on that front. I would just like my people to show me some respect and love, too. I’ve had a bro or sis tell me, “Well....you know how we do...”. But that hurts. Why should we treat ourselves or each other this way? Why not give me a bit of a discount, or a free side, dessert, or drink for my trouble. Even a “Thank you very much for your business” would be appreciated. I definitely get that across town, and yet I return because I’d rather patronize businesses in my own neighborhood.

Loved the bbq chicken! It was generous in size and came with rice, salad, and some other cold veggies. I also ordered a side of plantains cause I can never say to them and they were so perfect! Food came out quickly, service was good. Note, they have a more limited menu on weekdays and later in the nights, but this shows they know how to not waste food and keep on top of their inventory! A for effort!! Will definitely be back next time I'm nearby.
