We went to Kingston Cafe for lunch today - only to find it closed. A notice on the door says that from 1 August 2018, the place "will provide catering and event services only". So the hours shown on Google maps are bogus. I am not sure what's with the several reviews from the past 1-3 months (we are in 2020 already) where the reviewer claims that they visited the place, they liked it, etc. Are they writing from notes that are more than one year old? Or what? By the way, the one-star rating is not for the cafe itself (we didn't even set foot in it, obviously), but for the erroneous info and reviews on Google maps.

I enjoy Jamaican cusine. Although the parking SUCKS, this spot is, in my opinion, the very BEST in Atlanta! The place is super small with limited seating while waiting on your order, however the service is fairly quick considering how packed the place can get. The food was fresh and plentiful, the price is reasonable, the staff was nice and the place was clean.

Stopped in here with some friends a little while back when we were passing through town. Great food,quick and friendly servers,clean bathrooms,and a fun nice atmosphere. Fair and reasonable prices,very good for the quality of the food. Never had authentic Jamaican food but this place knocks it out of the park! Would visit again without question!

Worst food ever. The food was bland, dry, tasteless, unappealing, and horrible. You would get better tasting food from a can of Chef Boyardee or a military M.R.E. I rather get a root canal or hear William Hung sing She Bang She Bang on a continues loop, then stepping foot in the place again. Rating this place one star is to kind. If I could give this place no stars or a negative star it would definitely rate it.

I gave them a four star rating only because of how the hostess Keisha wasn't patient enough to stay on the phone when i as a deaf person had tried calling them through interpreting services to cancel our reservation. She was not familiar with the relay call, so she hung up on me (my interpreter) twice. I had tried to call them to cancel my reservation when realizing my partner and i could not make it in time to get to our reservation as we were running late driving down south from Sacramento. Otherwise, Keisha was actually very nice when i finally got there in person to order some food to go. The food i ordered (Caribbean Green--vegetarian) was DELICIOUS!!
