This shop is getting greedy but competition will prevail. They used to sell low quality (bud) ounces for $100. Then management decided to stop that in an attempt to squeeze more money out of the blue collar worker. Now they sell $100 (pre tax) ounces made with random shake and some buds on top. So after tax you’re paying approx $120 for a bag of random shake/trim w/ buds on top. This is a sure tail sign that they don’t have enough competition in the area. I recommend going 15 miles north and checking out Southern Colorado Canabis Club. They have a daily quality bud ounce special for $99 after tax. This means for $99 out the door you get 1ounce of quality bud (NO Las Casa Cannabis shake/trim mixed in), tax is included. I recommend calling ahead to find out what the daily ounce strain is....... So to summarize: you can buy an ounce of random shake/trim with buds on top at La Casa Cannabis for $120 (after-tax) or if you drive 15 miles north to Southern Colorado Cannabis Club you can buy an ounce of quality bud for $99 (after-tax). Because if this, I stopped recommending La Casa Cannibis and won’t be returning.

La Casa Cannabis is an awesome little shop that greets you with the pleasant aroma of all things cannabis even before the friendly staff is able to. Here, a genuine rocky mountain high awaits you amidst the splendor of the San Luis Valley. Convenient to north-central New Mexico, you'll find great prices, a wide selection of quality products, experienced budtenders & lots of fellow New Mexicans responsibly exercising their personal freedoms. Located just an hour due north of Taos, the ride is scenic & we'll worth it. Olé!

Huge selection! Most places I've visited had maybe 5 strains. There had to be at least 20 at this place! And the man who helped me took the time to get me exactly what I needed! I'll definitely be going back before we leave town! Thank you for the increadible experience!

I have found Green World Express in Antonito and Green World Recreational in Fort Garland to be two of the best despenceries in the Valley. There is every product you could possibly want to find, and there prices are very reasonable. All the bud tenders are knowledgeable and fun. They are willing to answer any questions you might have, and obviously enjoy their jobs. I would recommend them highly! Go check it out.
