Please remove the plywood on the windows, this neighborhood doesn’t need the stigma of siege. We have enough problems as it is, please uplift us, make us feel better about the rampid poverty this side of town is about to suffer from. Don’t just sell us weed. Show us some love please. Thank you. Unless you’re waiting for new windows. Better be some badass windows...

Off the top. Do not buy the "La mota gummy edibles" I have eaten 4 and 1 of the other brands they sell in one sitting and nothing... I'm not even a heavy hitter just noticed they don't do anything... maybe eat 8? I don't know... OTHER THAN THAT.The tree is a hit or miss, just gotta know what's good, what's grown by who and when it was harvested. I'm a honest fan for flower deals especially when that one strain/batch comes along.

Visited this location main times had good service but more poor service then the good ones. 100% for the safety of everyone else not getting hurt. You should probably properly cover the nice drain hole wide open with no proper drain cover on it. Just a drain pipe exposed to hurt anyone who parks in the back in the parking behind your shop. Nothing in my hands I got out of the passenger side walked towards the building still with nothing in my hands all the sudden at the back of my van my right foot stepped right in the black drain hole I didn’t see at all til I was already hurt. As I fell in he drain pipe my fiancé jumped out of our van to make sure I was okay and neither of us could understand why this drain had been approved to be left like that. Not a single notice watch your step bright orange spray paint to bring it to peoples attention to watch out. When I entered the shop 4 bud tenders were standing around chit chatting well only one of them is helping the only other customer in the shop. Not a single greeting welcoming me in like normal. Finally after a couple minutes standing there a gentleman tells me he has to get his keys before he can help me. The other two bud tenders not helping customer went else where. Once the bud tender returned with his key. I address the issue about TRIP HAZARD SAFETY CONCERN. After I shared I got hurt by the drain the budtender kinda chuckled but was trying not to allow it to look that way! Started serving me without asking for my Id no one has labeled name tags to report what bud tender name who helped me I entered the shop door grabbing my id pointed out what concentrates I wanted with my I’d. As he tried to scan the concentrates I wanted that’s when he realized he needed my I’d. When I bought my concerns out about the drain pipe all the bud tender could say was a sarcastic oh yeah. It wasn’t til I told him my foot was experiencing a lot of pain and throbbing that I couldn’t handle it only for him to tell me he’d try to remember to tell the maintenance guy coming in some time this next week and try to get it fixed! Not a single employee working asked me if I was ok or if they could help me in anyway I was clearly limping and if the pains and swelling in my foot doesn’t go by the time when my fiancé gets off work tomorrow I’ll be going to get my foot looked at!!!

La Mota has multiple locations and at each location they have wonderful employees inside to help you out with making decisions on your flowers, oils, wax, edibles, etc. There is also a pretty large variety of their different products! They have a section where you can purchase glass in the case you may have just lost or broken your piece :)

Been gettin 2 of the $3 Blue Widdow grams the passed couple of days(for spliffs) Pretty chill especially when you are looking for "the bang for your buck". Cool employees that get you in and out, there's hardly a wait which I often notice there is at other dispensaries. Clean shop. Nothing too special about this location but it's a decent dispensary to visit for a quick pick up or if you live in this area.

I've gone to La Mota for several months now buying shatter and it's usually a hit-or-miss as to whether the quality is good or not however this time when I bought I got a pocket full of oil. It ran all over the bag, wasn't in its container, lost over half of it and they refuse to take it back. They recognize that this was a problem and told me that they've had other customers complain about this however they refused to do anything about it and told me to be on my way ,I will not be buying my shatter nor my flower from LaMotta anymore

Great customer service, laughed at the corny jokes I told and apologized in advance for me being used to WA prices. Got some reasonably decent for about double what I pay in WA, but somehow walked away with a smile. Sometimes it isn't about the money, it's about the love and this shop showed kindness and charismatic enthusiasm for each customer who walked in. All the staff was very friendly, honest, and helpful. I'll probably be back.

I visited the Shady Cove location while on vacation. I am a medical card holder which means I do not pay tax. I was charged $23.75 for tax and didn't notice until I got all the way home to Aloha. So I called the SC location and they told me to call one of the Portland locations and they could refund me. I have been calling for FOUR WEEKS! The manager is NEVER there and does NOT return phone calls. And apparently she is the only one who can refund me.When you pay hundreds of dollars for a medical card it would be nice if they actually did their job and rung people up right and if not, take their call and REFUND THEM!!!So if you are a card holder I suggest you shop at a dispensary that has competent people running it and working there!

Been spending almost $100 a week at this place on concentrates, not because the quality is great( most concentrates they have are sugared out and harsh) but because they are really nice and take credit cards.I stop by tonight close to close and see a sign that says "cash only" I ask the gal if they have an ATM, she says no, there is one next door, but you won't make it because we're closing, but you can come back tomorrow and remember to bring cash, the card reader is gone indefinitely. . . . .I'll be going somewhere else tomorrow!

I've been here twice, and I'm pretty impressed. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable, prices are good, and it's close to home. I came to Portland from Colorado, and I'm amazed at how much cheaper recreational buds are here compared to CO.To the reviewers complaining about low-quality bud for $100/ounce, you get what you pay for. They have many higher-grade strains that also cost more. $100/ounce is, in my mind, cooking bud. Don't go somewhere and buy regs for reg prices and then complain when you get regs. Having said that, a lot of the bud that you can get for $100/ounce is still substantially better than what you'd get at a California dispensary for twice the price.
