A friend swears by this place and their work. Took my car in thinking it was the transmission. Told them that. Would go in gear, but not go. Left it for them to check. Got a call about 4hrs later saying yes, transmission, 5k to rebuild it. Called around, took to another shop. Wasn't the transmission. Broken axle. $850 to fix. Transmission is fine. Now, this place does offer you a rental for $15 A day.

My car broke down close to the shop, I called And they gave me a quoteDue to English been my second language I misunderstood some things , but the owner worked with me and give me a discount on top of already great price.The car is running like new for the price I could never hope get anywhere else. Highly recommend them, You won’t be sorry

Ive had service all across this country and NH Discount is by far the best. Karen was patient even with the some wrong parts that I brought in myself (incorrectly shipped by distributor). She found the correct match in a timely manor and had the car ready and waiting quickly. She offers fair and correct labor costs and parts cost. Answered all my questions and requests quickly. If you need a tow ask for her recommendation for a fair tow price came in at half of the others I looked into. I usually work on my car myself but when time is a factor NH Discount is now my go to for my needs.-B

I have a Nissan Sentra 2009 - and the other day the "Service Engine Soon" light came on. I was so worried that I wouldn't be able to financially cover the issues that were causing the code to come up I took the car to Ammco who scanned for the code for free, but wanted to charge me for the diagnosis . Karen does not only greet you warmly but she explains to you exactly what is going on. There is no charge for a diagnosis. If something needs to be fixed they will fix it for you and tell you how much the cost is. If it's too expensive then you only pay $100 for their labor.For the inexperienced_______________________If you're like me and you only know a little bit about cars. If you bought a used car like my sentra from 2009. I bought it in 2012 and it's running fine. Karen explained to me that because the car is old, Ive had it for about 4 years, the other person put 66,000 miles on it. You get to a certain point and she explained to me that the first part to go is usually or almost always the 02 sensor. It starts to go bad, then you the rest go bad.. so if you don't have the money to replace the parts now, you wait down the road, build up the funds and then replace the parts. It was explained to me that the "service engine soon" light comes on because the computer in the car is detecting a problem early on. However, just because the light is on doesn't mean the car will stall or fail on you. She explained to me that the real issues happen years down the road so just remember that! If.. it's an older car as far as I know.Karen also offers a class for $25, every third Sunday of the month and she does not charge you the rest of the time.She also rents out cars for $15/day. Anyway the point is, is that she is upfront and honest with you. She doesn't BS around and this is will be my "go to place" if anything comes up with the car.. I called other places and they were asking for $135 for jut the diagnosis. Karen is fantastic.

Awesome integrity. That's what I've found at North Hollywood Discount, which is my FULL AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE LIFELINE. After serious mechanical work was performed on my Celica engine I detected a slight oil leak and took the car back into the shop. An unscrupulous mechanic could easily have covered up a mechanic's error and told me something was wrong with the engine. Karen's honesty blew me away. After the cumbersome process of reopening the engine, Karen immediately told me the leak had been due a mechanic's error. She took care of everything, free of charge. That's integrity: knowing I have a mechanic who gives me the truth.

Karen has been there for me and my family all the way. As a young guy who doesnt know that much about cars (though my friends do) my family has been going to her since THEY were younger. My dad still uses her service to this day, and that is how i met her. She doesnt overcharge, is always friendly, and without pressure tells you exactly what needs to be fixed, and what can wait for another day. Plus if you ever have a question on what something even IS or MEANS, she will explain it in simple english and with pictures (I lOVE PICTURES) so you understand what your buying. She has looked over many of my prospect cars that i was thinking about buying for no charge and told me her honest thoughts on them. (Saved me from buying a lemon) WORTH IT ALREADY!ALSO, if you have ever been to her shop then you know about her vending machine which is only 75 cents for a soda. LOVE ITBeen using for serveral years now (about 5 i belive) and my father has been using for about 15 years.
