I came in with a mask but since it has valves "which are covered by a N95 mask on the inside" the gentleman refused to let me in with it. He did offer me a different mask to wear, the only problem I had with that was he said it HAD BEEN WORN BY SOMEONE ELSE. So it's ok for me to wear a mask worn by someone else but I can't wear my own!!! I have been a regular customer for about 3-4 years that drive from Colorado Springs to shop here. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!

We have been shopping here at least once a week since we moved into this neighborhood a two years ago. This week was likely our last time shopping. They switched their rewards program without notice and will not honor the $25 reward we had earned on the old one (that we just earned on last week!). Over going and having the one woman ignore our price points and continue to try to sell us things outside of our budget. This same person always asks if you need "lighters butane, or pins" even after you tell her you don't have extra money. This place use to be a great experience, now it's just pushy selling and a lack of care for their clientele.

Was sold an ounce of shake and was told I could not see how it looked before buying it. When I opened the ounce, I was stunned to notice that most of the ounce was stems and seeds. I was told by the budtender that their shake was pretty good and decided to trust them. They clearly do not know what quality product looks like. The weed smells like it has mold and turns my stomach. I threw away $70+ for their trash. After shopping with LightShade for over a year, I will no longer go to their establishments as they do not care about what they are pushing onto their customers. In a time when respiratory illness is a huge concern in the world, recieving a product that may have mold is not conducive to LightShade caring for their customers or the community.

Used to go here occasionally until several months ago when I bought an eighth and received lawn clippings, borderline unusable junk. Lightshade has also sold moldy weed on multiple occasions which poses serious health risks to users, look for the Westword articles for more info. There are better dispensaries with better product a short walk from here.

Yes, this is a coporate atmosphere type of place. Similiar to McDonald's, but this seems to be the progression of businesses these days. The service and quality of what is kept on hand as product is as expected. Quality, consitancy, and professionalism was found throughout the shopping experience. Please consider keeping if not the same, similar prices in the future. Thanks Lightshade! Your company has grown up a lot since our first encounter. This place has our recommendation.

This place is the bomb 🔥, best dispensary I’ve been to in Denver. always check it out when in Colorado. I visited every year since 2017, I’m from Illinois. Been to many dispensary stores, about 10-15, just Colorado. LightShade in my opinion is the best in town, only being tied with another store from Boulder, that store being “Drift Recreation Marijuana”. This location has MANY strains, edibles, and concentrates to choose from. When I went they had a deal to mix and match different 8ths from all their strains for an ounce, for a total of $100. Thats amazing in Illinois right now, Where I’m from, you’re looking at $400-$500 lmao noooooo. Lightshade is a dispensary in Colorado I suggest all people go to for their Cannabis needs. If you’re visiting or never been to a dispensary this a one worth going to for your first time. Very professional, helpful staff, and great weed. This place has the most variety I’ve seen in Colorado in general. It’s definitely my go to place when I’m in Denver

I visited from Massachusetts, purchased 5 strains. A 1/4 for under $50 is a steal compared to prices around here. Minimum $100 plus 20% tax at Mass dispensaries, one place called Verilife charging $75 an 1/8 plus 20% tax (yes you read that right). Good folks of Denver should thank their lucky stars to have a place like this. Right across street from a BBQ joint too, can’t beat that!

Do not go here! I was a regular until today. The woman I had was very rude. I will be finding another dispensary that has better customer service. I was not able to buy my product because I said I was kicking it with my roommate today. I will not be bringing my business here anymore and I suggest other people to do the same. I will make sure to spread this across social media so people do not get the same experience I did. Trust me dodge the bullet and don’t go here. There are several other dispensaries downtown and with the way I was just treated the money is not worth it here.
