This place is awesome! If you are a medical patient, this is by far your go to place in Lakewood. I just over into the area and couldnt find a decent price as I need my medicine and this place is it.... more

Jose, the district manager, helped to sort out an issue I had here.. he was great to communicate with and the only reason I'm posting this review instead of staying silent is because I massively had my time wasted. Essentially I had money shortchanged (which I speculate may not have been unintentionally done, just because normally [As I Used to be a regular shopper of this location] my usual budtender she would be very helpful and talkative but on this day I was rushed.. spoken to curtly and once I get home I see I'm missing $ & immediately am upset just because of how tight things are with Covid. It really was a punch in the face. I immediately reached out to the instagtam brand account with my concerns and was called a few days later by Jose who helped to sort things out and reassure me everything would be okay and I truly believe he himself Jose did try to make things right but after multiple phone calls, having many hours of my time wasted I WAS TOLD I WOULD RECIEVE 15 PERCENT OFF MY NEXT PURCHASE AT ANY LIGHTSHADE (I was already taken slightly aback at the fact I was only getting a % off after essentially being robbed but decided I would go along with it and settle just because if, in my mind, I purchased close to the limit it would end up evening out.) I THEN GO TO LIGHTSHADE TO USE SAID PERCENT OFF ONLY TO BE UNDERAPPRECIATED AND SCREWED ONCE AGAIN. THERE ARE MUCH BETTER DISPENSARIES OUT THERE THAT WILL TREAT YOU HUMAN AND NOT LIKE A CORPORATION

The employee could only tell me the type of strain and the price of what was on sale. The price was repeatedly brought up by the employee. There was no discussion of taste or effects.There was no browsing. There was a small amount of product in the glass counter. Inquiries as to what products are available were met with "What are you looking for?" Following that, the employee would list the products on sale, and their price.There are signs stating that everyone has to wear a mask. While the stated employee and I were attempting to communicate, a second employee walked up to speak with the first employee. The second employee was not wearing a mask, which is less than cool.I will never be able to recoup the time that I spent here, and I think that I will always regret that.

My husband and I have been here numerous times over the last couple of years. Lately the weed has been a very poor quality and the prices are also going up.When my husband proceeded to ask the cashier if he could recommend something really good there that they grow and explain to him that we have not been getting good marijuana for the last two or three months his response was sarcastically, it's Colorado. my husband proceeded to explain to him that he used to grow here in Colorado outdoors and that you can grow very good quality weed here in Colorado. His response again was simply , it's Colorado.So here's what I have for this cashier, if you don't like Colorado weed go back to whatever state you came from and see if you can grow there. You most certainly shouldn't be selling weed when that is your response and you're feeling on our weed here in Colorado. Secondly, I seriously doubt you even know what you're talking about as far as growing marijuana my husband is a master grower and can grow six to seven foot trees with quality strands. I am a native here and have known growers since before it was ever legal. And we can grow very good marijuana here in our state. Because of wasted money spent and a sarcastic cashier we will not be coming back to this place.On a positive note everybody else has been friendly and courteous, the place is clean and they have a decent selection

Renee is very rude. It’s not about what is said it is about how it’s said. I recommend anyone shopping medical here go ANYWHERE else. I know after shopping here for a very long time I will NEVER be back. I need someone from upper management to reach back to me ASAP.Love how everyone who used to be a loyal shopper is now finding Somewhere else to go. On the medical side I highly recommend Karmaceuticals for their medical needs.

Verry disappointed in the service or service not received. On 5/29/20 around 8pm My wife and I have shopped at this location since they open the doors.And we are there at least ounce a week. We enter the store and is told by your sales associate they are taking customers in 1 by 1 So I look at my wife and I say I will wait in the car this after they have taken both of our IDs . I got into my wallet and give her the cash for both of our meds. And then we was both told to leave for loitering really this is not the definition of loitering. As we are leaving the store very mad and not understanding 😡 what the problem is. We are approached by a loiterer standing out side the store.asking people to purchase weed for him he is still approaching people as we are leaving. So we go to MIle High dispo and there for like 15 minutes. After leaving this store well takin care of we are driving by lightshade the dude is still there loitering in his bright green jacket. Sorry y'all just lost some good customers I will never come back. Didn't even want to leave 1 star but it was the only way to leave the rating.

Used to be great, now not. Employees are rude, place is often crowded, prices are inconsistent. Last time two employees at the counter tried to refuse to let me pickup a preorder unless I purchased a lightshade branded facemask for $6. What a joke.As icing on the cake, the last order I picked up from here was full of ...hair? Something smelled absolutely disgusting over and over. Ended up throwing a bunch away, and second time this has happened from this location. Take your money elsewhere.

I came in wanting the red head stranger popcorn for $30 but it was out of stock. I ask for suggestions as a better deal. I was given 3 grams for $30. It was a bad way to lead your customer when you get can 1/8th for $20. I called to get things cleared up and the manager had the rudeness attitude. I was over charged for them many I wanted. The manger told me it was my fault I should know the amounts. When I ask for suggestions for what I can get me a bigger amount. Don’t argue with me for giving me a lower amount then I wanted. This was wrong I shouldn’t have to know the amount before I step into the store. People learn this as they go alone. Your employees should know enough information to answer your customers questions, correctly. I’m very dissatisfied with my purchase. I always look for the best use with my moment, this was a waste.

Tried to overcharge me for items I purchase all the time. The website matched the prices I've always paid but somehow the budtender wanted almost $30 more. I left, went back in to a different budtender and paid the normal price. Train your staff better please. This added almost 45 minutes to a stop that should've been 10 minutes at most.

These guys used to be great but it seems like I leave frustrated these days. Due to the pandemic they can’t open containers anymore to show what you’re getting. I get that. But the employees can’t even tell you if the $28 ounces are shake or trim. They have no idea. And there’s a big difference between the two things. They also have been completely lacking any empathy when telling medical customers about new updates to the law. I left with a fraction of my intended purchase today because I had been counting on member discounts that I’ve always gotten and was told “yeah we don’t do that anymore.” I’m back to looking for somewhere else to shop because the last several times I’ve gone in they’ve made me feel like it’s a chore for them to take my money. It’s a bummer.

Wow. Lightshade informed me that Lightshade corporate raised their prices 50% at 1 pm Mountain Time today (that's 3pm Eastern which is JUST as Prez T declared a federal state of emergency). Nice. Thanks for nothing you Price Gouging Opportunistic A-holes. We won't do business with you again.
