If you're looking for the best dispensary in western MA, here it is. This is the way a cannabis dispensary should be run. From the moment you approach the building there is a sense of professionalism that is sadly missing from certain other local dispensaries. Your ID is checked before you enter the building, in the entryway before you enter the main dispensary area, and at the counter when you make your purchase. Security is a definite priority here--to make things smoother, have your ID handy as soon as you step out of your car, and keep it out until you've made your purchase.Inside, if this is your first visit, they'll explain how the place works and some of the things it's known for. The employees clearly care about their customers and try to remember and personally greet regulars. Everyone is friendly and knowledgeable about all the products, and they're happy to chat and help you find the best one for you. As for the quality of the products themselves, I can only speak for the flower, but that alone is a thing of beauty. Growing in small batches on-site clearly pays off in terms of cannabinoid and terpene profiles, and also allows MAC to offer exclusive strains you won't find anywhere else. The buds are always as fresh and high-quality as possible; never dry, squashed, or de-kiefed. A small "terpene shield" packet is included to help keep the flower from drying out while it's in the jar.This is a cash-only operation, so either bring cash or a debit card to use with the in-store ATMs. The ATMs do charge a fee in addition to any charge imposed by your bank, so the best idea is to bring cash with you. Also, MA dispensary prices and sales tax may be higher than you are used to if you've visited dispensaries in other states, so make sure you check prices online and factor in the 20% sales tax for recreational purchases (medical is tax-free).
