Was in ER this past Saturday night throwing g up black brown with what felt like rocks. Told the nurse and she said no your not and didnt even look. I'm admitted now and no answers .I understand that we are in Covid times. But if the are going to keep telling me how they are saving lives instead of finding out what's wrong, then why did they admit me. Learning alot here in the reviews. Is this place more about making money than anything else?

My wife visited 3 weeks ago due to a nasty lupus flare. For the first time in 5 years and many other hospitals, her diagnosis and pain level were acknowledged. She was treated like a human being, shown compassion and sympathy. Only complaint was the conversations in the hall were kinda loud but overall it was a HUGE relief to see her be treated with humility and sympathy while dealing with something most doctors don't know much about. Thank you

Beware of any office associated with Canyon Vista Medical Center. They have offices all over town for blood work, x-rays and other types of medical specialties. They charge outrageous prices for similar tests elsewhere. I will only seek out other businesses for ANY medical needs in SV or I will drive to Tucson. I’ve been fooled a few times but it truly is the worst experience for medical care I’ve had. They are monopolizing our community and price gouging us! Shame on you!

The worst hospital I have ever been to. The Emergency Staff could not identify severe difficulty breathing!!! They were too busy treating their monitors!!! An ER that lacks the BASIC Skill to recognize & begin immediate treatment of a compromised airway!!!! I survived by the grace of God!!!! I would not take my dog to that facility!!!!!

I delivered at canyon vista January 10th and I had such an amazing experience. When I hear bad things I can’t imagine how. All of the nurses were very nice and caring and both the anesthesiologists that I met were amazing. My ob was off when I delivered but did come in to check on me before she left for the day and her name is Mary Schlotter(idk if I spelled that right). The woman who did deliver my baby was amazing as well. Her name was Maddie and she’s a midwife. Such a positive experience, a very nice hospital, and huge L&D rooms.

Today I took my two-year-old there she fell and had a small laceration less than an inch from her eye. They did take us back rather quickly probably because I was freaking out and there was a lot of blood. the reason they get one star today is because they refused to give my daughter something to calm her down while he was stitching right in her line of vision she had to be swaddled and was coughing and gagging and started turning blue.I also had to ask for different times before I could get a simple dose of acetaminophen even though her eye was already swollen shut and she was obviously very uncomfortable and agitated.

I went to this hospital because I was really sick had a bad cough which caused it being hard to breathe and a bad sinus infection all the doctor gave me was one medicine that me or my mom never heard of and I sometimes have an allergic reaction but the doctor pretty much didn't care I tried to ask for a Z pack at first he said yes then he said apparently a Z pack won't help because he said he "researched it " but my mom researched it and it said it is a big help to sinus.not only that he wouldn't give me anything for my cough he said there's wasnt anything to give name one hospital that has nothing for coughing they made me wait in a room with a lady that had the flu they barely helped her. The nurse was unprofessional. The doctor was very unprofessional not only because he wasn't even a doctor he was an assistant to the doctor and acted like he was the doctor. If you want to stay in pain and only get one medicine for your cold go here. If not go to urgent care you would have better luck

We were fortunate when we arrived to be the only ones in the waiting room. Got in right away, and everyone from the triage nurse, the NP Jolene, room nurse (Rachel) and supporting staff (gal who wheeled me to CT scan and Aurelius,) were friendly, helpful and empathetic. I’ve visited the ER times in the past and had less than satisfactory experiences. Total time in hospital was about one and a half to two hours and the experience was very positive.

My family and I have received various types of care at this medical center since moving to the area 20 years ago. Up until our ER visit today we have never had a positive experience and have always had to wait five or more hours to be seen by lacking providers. We usually have driven to Benson or Tucson if we think we can make the drive to receive better care. However, today we would not have been able to make the drive so I reluctantly took my husband to this medical center's ER. After a quick registration my husband was called back within five minutes of our arrival to see the triage nurse. About 10 minutes later he was in a room in the ER being treated. The PA Heather was knowledgeable, caring, concerned, and thorough with her medical treatment. She along with RN Faith, the triage nurse, and the rest of the staff did a great job with timeliness, compassion, respect, and great care. I am overjoyed to finally be able to say something positive about this medical center. Thank you and please keep up the good work!!!

Terrible, absolutely terrible. Took my 5 yr old there with fever x 3 days and severe stomach pain, placed in a room with no bed, chest x ray ordered, even after I told the doctor she was already being treated for her wet cough, per her pediatrician. X-Ray inconclusive, "maybe pneumonia" she was given a large dose of an oral steroid, (which wasn't put on my discharge paperwork) and sent home. She increasingly got worse, and developed severe leg pain, which caused her to be unable to walk for 4 days. We ended up at TMC (Tucson Medical Center) on Thursday 1/2, where she was given IV fluids and diagnosed with Influenza B. While I understand that even if she had been diagnosed with the flu when I took her to CVMC her symptoms might of not gotten better, she could of received Tami-Flu, as well as me knowing what was wrong with my child. Due to the negligence of CMVC, multiple people have been exposed to the virus, as well as my daughter still having symptoms 10 days later. Do not waste your time, just go to Bisbee, or Tucson.
