Good experience, friendly staff, a bit hard to find & parkHowever, bought a deep line alchemy pre roll that was molded completely through and had to be thrown out. quality control team should be checking things before they get to patients, molded bud from a medical facility isn’t acceptableGood folks and service, but need to be more careful

Inaccessible and they have high prices. but my rating is good the quality of the medicine and the friendliness of the bud tenders. Would be a 5 star review if: a) they were handicap accessible (this place is for sick people and it’s up a flight of stairs w no elevator for goodness sake! I am a part time wheelchair user and they’re lucky I can take painkillers and bring a cane/walker)b) the meds were more affordable

Absolutely the most unpleasant experience! I went there and the setup kinda threw me off. After going to another dispensary closer to my home that are more friendly and CHEAPER, I found that reception was cold and they also don't give me my deserved discount on flower which forces me to buy vape products in order to get it! I go here as a last resort. As soon as you walk in, they immediately go behind the register so I feel pressured to hurry with my selection. Knowledgeable? I wouldn't know! I'm rushed out after I make my purchase & even if I do ask a question, the answer is short and non informative. Do better you guys!! Do better!!

The service is both professional and excellent.The variety and quality of the products is above and beyond any other dispensary I have frequented. The employees are extremely knowledgeable and courteous. The waiting area is neat and clean, as well as the wait time is minimal. It is always a pleasant experience shopping at Metropolitan Wellness Center.

The staff make u feel at home like thier family and comfortable to do your thing purchase what you want unjudged, the selection is absolutely amazing , and the staff is also very knowledgeable of the products they carry as well as effects of such, I absolutely recommend this dispensary to everyone looking for a new cannabis purchasing home.

I don't know about the rest of you, but I just went there for the 1st time on Monday, because I was in the area dropping someone off. No parking, 20+ stairs to climb, plus, the lady that waited on me, was up tight, and had no patience, knowing that it was my 1st time. When I got home I discovered that the cartridge she sold me was NOT the right size for my vaper pipe. The head felt as though there was excessive air. I also got no discount, or a free product as a first time customer. Sucks.

I was told if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything BUT people need to know. I didn't immediately notice the building. Right next to the dispensary is a building being renovated so it was hard to see the front door from my seat in the Uber. The Uber driver saw it and said "it's right there, where those guys are standing". There were about 5 or 6 guys just standing in front of the building talking to one another. I walked past the guys as a couple was coming out of the building.I had to walk up the steep stairs so if you are in a wheelchair or have issues with steps, this is not the place for you. Other people have complained about the wait time, I didn't have to wait long. When I arrived, nobody was there. After I filled out the document, I waited less than 5 minutes to be called back. I met Yaya, she was friendly. I bought a few things and left. The price was okay, there are other dispensaries with cheaper prices. As I was leaving, the guys were still outside loitering. One was so close to the door that I had to knock on the door to get his attention to move out of the way. Oh and I found out as I was leaving that the bathroom is out of order.TL; DR: Not ADA compliant. Some guys were loitering outside as I went in and when I was leaving. Bathroom doesn't work.

Worst dispensary EVER! The wait is ridiculous, never have I ever waited so long and I’ve been to every DC dispensary. I don’t care if I don’t have a preorder, you shouldn’t bring people back that came after me, ahead of me to make their purchase. Preorders make process faster, but shouldn’t change queue order. Prices are too high, but because they’re the only dispensary on Southside, they think they can price gouge. Amy is a straight up con artist, she’ll look you in the eye with a straight face and tell you tax is $20 something bucks on a $50 order, when tax is 6%/$3 for such a small order. Then when I called them out on it, and have to continually insist that’s incorrect, “oh we’re sorry computer rang up wrong.” What? When I was just going back n forth with Amy for 5 minutes and she insisted system price was correct, even though I knew better considering I consume the max 4oz per month and have been going to DC dispensaries since 2015! I’m not slow just because I smoke a lot, don’t try and take advantage of patients!They don’t honor 20% “red border” discount, even though I confirmed they did before I drove all the way there, as well of with front desk man who told me they honor 20% low income discount for anything over $25. When I get to the back, Amy says discount is already incorporated into price...yeah right. I guess she thought because I was from North that she could play me. Never again will I ever waste my time or spend anything with this location. They are a rip off. The dispensaries on the north side are fair with great prices and even give freebies and offer rewards programs. I actually get a free gram every other visit, and they paid for my renewal so it’s great! I love National Holistic and Tacoma Wellness! They’re absolutely wonderful and the prices are great! STAY AWAY FROM THIS CON ARTIST LOCATION...they’ll try and rob you 😔

Nothing But Awesomeness!!My very first experience was with J.P. and today I had the pleasure of dealing with Yah-Yah! I mean these guys are great at what they do! Well diversed "plant", if u will, of knowledgeable and wonderful ppl. There's another young lady TODAY too that I had the pleasure of enjoying her company yet I'm saddened bc I cant quite recollect her name, a sweetheart at best! Great products, deals, and a cool point system! I'll continue to shop with these guys😊

Metropolitan wellness center is a medical marijuana dispensary. They are located in SE D.C. Next to a cell phone repair shop. They serve D.C. Residents with a D.C. department of health medical marijuana card. They Cary a wide variety of products related to marijuana. The employees seem to be knowledgeable and courteous at times. Maybe they have a high volume of customers. They close at 8pm sharp.
