Went in without an appointment, waiting room was full. Front desk and staff were very friendly. I was told my wait time was going to be 30 min. They called me up in 20 minutes. 10 minutes for paper work. Then taken back to exam room. Was seen by Dr. David Fann . Which was very friendly and answered all my questions. Was given prescriptions , filled right there on the spot. Don't understand all the negative comments. Thank you AltaMed for making my experience with you a good one.

Dr Choi is amazing. He helped answer so many questions, and even drew diagrams to help me understand. The last two times I came in for some sort of anxiety attacks/chest pain, the ladies up front took me very seriously and got me in quickly. Not sure why the bad reviews, this place is the most professional and friendly urgent care I have ever been to.

Ok, so I haven't even been to this location yet, but have to go to urgent care later this morning. I've read approximately 30 reviews and all but 5 of them have a 1 star review!?!? That's disturbing and what's even worse is that they care so little about their patients that they reply to these reviews with the SAME EXACT form letter, no matter what the complaints are!!! They don't even care enough to actually read the reviews...are we really supposed to trust them to care about our health? The only reason I gave 3 stars is because I've always had great luck with everyone from the Santa Ana/Bristol office, so I'm giving the Garden Grove office the benefit of the doubt .Good luck everyone!

Where do I start first I had turned in my disability paperwork to the front desk for my doctor to fill out. I turned it in as soon as I got it from my job. The dr office had 2 weeks to fill it out. Well it just sat there they never even noted it into the system and they put it in the mailbox of a doctor that was out on vacation. I get an email from my job on a Friday and the documents were due by Monday. I contacted the dr office and asked what was going on and why had the documents not been filled out and faxed back in yet. Well nobody could tell me at that moment and they said they would call me back. I called 2 more times that day and still no information. They were then closed on the weekend so on Monday morning I took another copy of the disability forms to be filled out. I speak to the front desk and they inform me the doctor was at lunch already so to just leave them the paperwork and they will call me as soon as it’s filled out. Well guess what that didn’t happen either because they forgot to give the doctor the documents. Mind you the forms were due by the 3rd and it was not the 4th before the doctor finally filled them out. My job called me and fired me for not getting the forms in on time. Now speed forward to today I had some problems with my insurance and finally got it all fixed I had an appointment with the OBGYN at 1:15. I needed to leave by 2, I was there to explain my situation to the doctor and get a referral to see a specialist. I literally waited until 2:05 before I decided to leave after still not seeing the doctor. They over book is not fair we are expected to be there by our appointment time and if your more then 15 min late they cancel you but oh it doesn’t matter how long they take to see the patients we’re just supposed to deal with it. I have kids and things I need to get done. I was in the hospital last week and told I needed to see the OB. It’s just one thing after another with this place. They don’t care about their patients. When I was fired from my job because of the doctors office I was going through a deep depression. I tried to take my own life and almost successfully succeeded. Depression is serious but they did not take mine seriously when I was finally let out of the hospital all altamed could do was say sorry that’s all. I just give up not only do I suffer from depression but I also have had to have multiple surgeries and today was the day I was going to see about taking care of my problems for the surgeries. But no I didn’t get to even see the doctor because the amount of time it took once again. So now I’m sitting here in pain still stressed out not knowing what to do. This does not help at all with a person suffering from depression because part of my depression is due to my physical health.

Horrible urgent care do not come here. I called at 7pm to make sure that they would be able to see me since it was going to take me well over an hour to get there and the urgent care center closed at 9pm. I was told that I would fine and to just let the receptionist know that I had called ahead to make sure that they would take me as a walk in patient even at 8:30. I arrived at 8:15, 45 minutes before they closed. And they refused to see me eventhough I had called ahead to verify, eventhough I had told them that I drove 1 hour and 30 minutes to get there, eventhough I am in my 2nd trimester of a twin pregnancy. I explained to them the excruciating pain I felt in my ears, nose and throat and they didn't even bother to look at my ears, nose or throat. The nurse took my temperature an because I was just below 100 degrees at 99.9, I did not have a fever so they said I had to leave and come back tomorrow evening. I begged them to just take a quick look inside my ears and my throat but the nurse refused, she said that she looked at the doctor's schedule and that he didn't have any spare time to see me. I asked if he could just take 2 minutes of his time, because I had driven so far with all of my four children and that I was in so much pain that I could not even drink water, their response was you can wait one more day, try coming back again tomorrow and literally kicked me out at 8:45 pm, 15 minutes before they even closed. And they told me that if I was really in pain like I said I was that I should go home and self medicate by rotating between aspirin, tylenol, motrin and ibuprofen which you're not supposed to do if you're pregnant. I mean really how do these people even call them selves professional health care providers. I wish I could have rated them less than 0 stars even negative stars, because even if I could rate them so low it would not describe their Unprofessional callous behavior...!

Customer service here is terrible. The Dr gave me weird vibes/kinda rude. They were letting this family that had little kids run around and scream and run in and out of doors. When people are there because they don't feel good, it's inappropriate and they should have said something. They just overall gave me the vibe that they do not care, which is not how you want to feel when going to the Doctor. If I can avoid going back here I will.

Everytime I call the call center or come they tell me different, also the staff does not communicate the time frames correctly when they tell you to come back after lunch for urgent care ! I am so tired of this doctors office! I come because my child is sick and I have to wait hours and hours! It is time to start search for another URGENT CARE! The front desk is not friendly and they don't take your complaints seriously! Go to ANAHEIM location if possible they are GREAT!
