Dr. Milkis has been overseeing my care for several years. He has a wonderful depth of understanding of natural and traditional medicine, which makes him incredibly capable of providing holistic care. Dr. Milkis genuinely cares for his patients and invests the time to ensure each visit is thorough and he routinely follows up to ensure all is well. I very highly recommend Dr. Milkis to anyone that I hear is searching for a new provider.

I used to hate going to doctors. I would hold out as long as could, do my own research and try everything I could before going. Dr. Milkis has changed that for me. I look forward to my appointments because I know I will walk away with more information than I could ever find on my own and a thorough understanding of what all my options are. He has earned my trust and greatly improved my quality of life.

I've been seeing Dr. Milkis for many years. I've never had a problem getting in to see him, which is rare with most practices. He is very generous with his time and asks a lot of questions. Steve is a great problem solver and listener, I never feel rushed either. I always leave his office with a plan of action and options from traditional to naturopathic. I highly recommend him.

My recent visit with Dr Milkis once again reaffirmed why I continue to seek his council regarding issues associated with my health. My first introduction to Dr Milkis was several years ago while he was teaching and practicing at Bastyr. At that time I was dealing with health issues that other physician were unable to resolve. I was taken back by his compassion, and interest in me as a person. At no point did I feel our time was limited. He took the time to look beyond the symptoms and address the underlying cause of my problem. His recommendations resulted in reversal of my problem, and today I am symptom free. Additionally he reviewed the results of my lab test and identified potential problems, and suggested diet and life style changes to reverse the trend. Prevent problems before they occur is his objective. Dr Milkis recently moved and opened a private practice. His facility is excellent and parking is easy and plentiful. If you are looking for a competent physician with your best interest best interest in mind, look no further than Dr Milkis.

Dr. Milkis has been my ND and primary care provider for the last 17 years. Dr. Milkis is caring, compassionate, and takes time to listen and work with you on the best plan for your health and well being. I can think of many nice words to say about his expertise, knowledge and wonderful personally but it would not due justice to the superlative care he provides. I work in the medical system in hospitals as a care giver for 25 years and I have rarely encountered physicians who provide the excellence in care as Dr. Milkis and I feel fortunate he is my doctor.

Dr. Milkis has been able to reduce my back pain, when no other doctors could. After years of PT at Group Health and multiple visits to the chiropractor, I gave up on "fixing" my back because nothing really had a lasting positive effect. That's not the case with my treatment from Milkis, who has the skill & precision to make things better.

I cant say enough good things about Dr. Milkis. He genuinely cares about your well being and works with you to make sure your treatment fits with what you can do and want to do for your health. Really a positive supporter in your corner the whole time, its truly amazing working with him on your health it is a total team effort. After 26 years of seeing doctors trying to diagnosed me I was burnt on even seeing another Dr ever again. I was talked into going to Bastyr Clinic where I was told by the person making the appointment that Dr Milkis was the best at these difficult to diagnosis cases and so I went with the recommendation not expecting much. It took about a year, thou I maybe only saw him a handful of times in that year to get me diagnosed. Ill be honest I was difficult to work with and was not to forthright with everything that was going on with my symptoms. Because I had been through this many times with many Drs and I just didn't trust that any Dr had my good health really in mind, but Dr. Milkis is that exception a true find in the physician world, who seems to enjoy the puzzle of your health. After being diagnosed with a life long ailment I will have to work to keep up but there is drastic improvement of my life quality, thats had me in tears and such Ah that I could feel this good. That really is all because of this man.

Dr. Milkis is a wonderful, caring, compassionate doctor who listens! I began seeing Dr. Milkis at the Bastyr center, where he was a professor, a few years ago. I endure a rare genetic disorder called Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. I have hundreds of subluxations or dislocations of bones and joints daily. Most doctors are quite frankly overwhelmed by me, and all my associated complications, but not Dr. Milkis! He is careful, and thorough and hasn't ever subluxed a joint on my body (which is quite the accomplishment). He has helped me navigate gastrointestinal issues, chronic debilitating pain, headaches and so much more. He's gone above and beyond so many times, whether it's filling out paperwork to obtain home health care, or writing letters for the social security administration, he truly has my best interests at heart. If you are normal, or are super complicated like me, you couldn't find a better doctor anywhere! Trust me, I've been to hundreds of doctors in the area and he's the best of the best.
