My family doctor referred me to them. When they call to schedule an appointment they did not know what they were scheduling it for...I was completely taken back by that, and told her that before I made any appointment I would like to know what it would be for. I called and found out only through my family doctor, not the actual physical therapist. I am going to try them out and see for myself how they are before I base my opinion on the reviews. The reviews do help when making decisions so everyone that posted their comments thank you very much.
Feedback:
Not a place for kids, I wouldn’t recommend this place. Not a friendly environment when you walk in. Front office does the least possible to make you feel welcome. The PT wasn’t easy to talk to and didn’t make us feel comfortable, he just wanted to be done. Another thing is when he called my daughters name to the back , we stood up and walked towards the door and he said “sorry no kids are allowed in the exam room” ( like dude , she’s your patient. You could have at least looked at her chart and did your homework) He also couldn’t find anything wrong with my kid, when she clearly had a diagnosis from her primary along with X-rays, yet he still wanted to see her once a week $$ anyways, I don’t think he has much experience working with kids. I took her to another physical therapy office and they found exactly what was wrong with her.
Feedback:
Everyone was overall kind, however I never felt like I was working with someone who really cared about their patient. Everytime I went I would have a different person, and no one was personable or could really hold a conversation. When I would raise complaints about more painful areas of my body(my shoulder), they told me they couldn't give me exercises for anything but the one area I was referred for (my neck), even though my neck surgery was done to fix my shoulder pain. But my biggest issue was scheduling. I would go several weeks without an appointment because they are always fully booked. If I wound up needing to reschedule an appointment, I couldn't get in for 2 weeks. It makes it hard to go twice a week when there's never any openings. I've started at a new place that is amazing. This place doesn't hold a candle to other PTs in the area.
Feedback:
Front desk was pleasant, taking my co-pay each time I arrived. Four physical therapists were punctual. The MRI provided presented a torn rotator cuff - specifically the supraspinatus tendon. Therapy was three times a week for four weeks. At completion of therapy there was less mobility than at the start. No exercise or massage was specific to the injury presented. Unable to wash hair, pull on clothes or reach behind back. When therapists were asked about exercise to remedy they replied: "you have to do that yourself". CURE sent me a bill one month later claiming I had not paid. Credit card receipts discussed. CURE replied: "oh, we must have made an error." Nice enough people. Consider looking elsewhere if you really want to get better.
