While I understand that Nectar is a chain, and I respect that this location is going for the "tourist weed shop" business model, I have genuinely never had a good experience here. A couple highlights:- The budtenders are not only rude, but their marijuana knowledge rivals that of a 5th grade D.A.R.E student.- Filling out a sheet with personal information for the rewards system, only to come in again to find they had either lost my information, or forgot to enter it.- Getting cut in line on numerous occasions, to the point that I had to leave and go home to write my first google review ever because this place sucks that much. On a positive note, if you are under 21 I would actually highly recommend this location, as I have rarely ever been IDed.

I've been visiting Portland for a few days now and I have checked out a few different dispensaries during my time here. I approached the counter and was immediately greeted by a young woman. Unlike some of the other dispensaries, I didn't feel like she had a sales pitch up her sleeve; she was purely interested in helping me find exactly what I was looking for and that's exactly what happened. I explained how I wanted to feel (and how I did NOT want to feel) and she promptly had a recommendation and a great explanation for her choice. I only have one day left, but I feel like I'd found one of the best dispensaries in town 😁 TL;DR - The place had a nice ambiance and great customer service.

This was my first and only MJ experience in Oregon, and as a Washingtonian it made me jealous! This place is awesome! Great selection, great quality, and amazing prices! I love the fact that Oregon allows you to do everything but touch the actual product. You can actually smell it, and look at it under lit magnification. I will certainly be back next time I'm in Portland!

Not crazy about this place. In all fairness, it has more to do with the comparisons I’ve had with other dispensaries since arriving here in Portland. Up until now, the dispensaries I’ve dealt with have been shockingly informative with a real obvious passion and knowledge about not only their product, but the origins and farmers of their product. Here, I had a menu placed in front of me and pretty much left to my own guesses and judgment. My previous experiences with “budtenders” here in Portland was a very relaxed exchange and VERY accurate descriptions, but here, it felt much less focused on knowledge or a warm relaxed experience. So while I don’t really have a complaint about the actual product, I don’t feel it measures up to some of the other dispensaries I’ve had the pleasure of dealing with and that’s based entirely around the service. As a result, I definitely won’t return with so many other better options to choose from.

Nectar is my favorite chain of dispensaries; great prices, and friendly, knowledgeable, professional bud-tenders. A special shout out to Jessica at the Mississippi store- she's my favorite. They have special deals daily!------------------Since Google won't let me do a second review... I'll add it here...The Mississippi location is a GEM! All Nectar dispensaries have the same, excellent prices and daily deals… but the Mississippi store is in the heart of a very fun, active neighborhood; there's lots of food and music right there; which is excellent news for customers. Their entire staff of friendly, knowledgeable bud tenders provide excellent customer service. :)

I was here about a month ago, due to procrastination I'm getting this written. I'm a novice, completely, because the only experience I've had is smoking a few small bowl's back in the day. The best way I can put it is this was a wonderful experience. They were very patient with me and helped me find the right products for me. 5/5 stars will return

Come into your store and come to find out prices as advertised aren't true... $17more in fact. One star for a Great business model. Trick them to get them in the door with advertisements for stuff we don't have, they'll spend money anyhow. Clerks spend a bunch of time trying to figure out what to say because they see the same price that's advertised as I do ... but nope still won't honor the advertising. Plenty more stores in the city.

Nice store. Super deals and prices. Some of the best prices in town.Friendly budtenders. They know their stuff too.Got freebies (a rolling tray, stickers, lighter) and a 20% off for being 1st time customer. I have been back numerous times. Always nice and quick service. Always fresh products & wide selection too.

Ive been treated unfairly once again and it’s always the new employees.. I’ve been a loyal customer since the doors opened but every time there’s a new staff member, I get the cold shoulder treatment until my interaction with the older staff is observed.. recently it happened again .. there are better deals out there.. especially since nectar is changing up their deals..
