I think this must be a joke. My last two deliveries have been bad, the last one delivered today has me angry beyond belief.For $55, I received some spinach, kale, 3 nectarines, 2 peaches, a bag of kiwi fruits and one grapefruit, all overripe and wilted. The box said 4 x corn, 2 x eggplant, 1lb blue lake beans, grapefruit, lemons, grapes, apricots, nectarines, peaches, kale and iceberg lettuce! I am appalled. Stop blaming the pandemic. This is blatant incompetence. I’d be embarrassed to deliver this stuff. I just canceled my account.

I have had other organic delivery services, but Golden Gate Organics has the best owner, the freshest produce and custom boxes. They have been completely swamped by an onslaught of new customers, but Corey still called me personally to discuss an issue. He was kind, pleasant and professional even though I am sure that he is working night and day. It is so rare that you hear from the owner of a company. However, I did choose Golden Gate Organics specifically because of what I read in his profile. He has not disappointed me.

I almost don't want to say anything because I don't want everyone to catch on to this gem of a delivery service. I have tried other delivery services (FFTY, etc.) and GGO is better, by far. The quality of the produce, the customer service, the weekly emails, it's all top notch! Thank you, so much, for keeping fresh produce coming during this shelter in place. It means a lot to me and my family. <3

We usually get our vegetables from the local farmers market, there are few organic Santa Cruz, Watsonville farms who bringing their fresh veggies and fruits weekly. With "shelter in place" situation decided to temporarily switch to CSA box delivery, Golden Gate Organics was on top of what Google "Bay Area CSA" search returned, so we singed up and got our box yesterday. Never expected it to be so small, while produce seems to be OK, not really great, for the price I can get 2x amount at Whole Foods. Few items had stickers which you typically don't expect from true farm to table distribution.

Prompt delivery of fresh fruits and veggies of unbeatable quality, tastier then produce from Whole Foods! Every week we look forward to our box, and I enjoy coming up with meal plans around fresh, locally sourced, and seasonal ingredients! One week our avocados missed making it into our box, and Cory (the owner) responded immediately and drove a delivery with extra avocados to the house!

We love our small family fruits and veggies box from GGO. The produce is great quality, and the quantity is perfect for two vegetarian adults and a fruit-loving toddler. The customer service has been speedy and friendly, and it is really easy to add to or substitute your order through their website. Even in the middle of winter, they still provide a range of interesting veggies and fruits. They also don't use any unnecessary packaging and recycle the boxes that the food comes in. Best of all, they deliver to our doorstep in Richmond, CA.

First, this is a great way to budget for groceries and to plan meals as well. Second, the fruit and veggies that we receive are delicious--it's like getting a present every week! The add-ons for grocery items are also a life saver, especially since I don't always have the time (or the will) for a run to the store. I highly recommend this local gem!

Frankly, I don't like to use Yelp (sorry folks), but the produce is excellent almost every delivery, the ability to sub offerings is great, and the couple of times I needed to contact a person, I was completely satisfied. Great service is hard to find.Yes, I recommend GGO, a godsend for people who want and need home delivery of quality food.
