I would say they need to work on keeping the bathroom and locker room more dry. I understand no towel service but how about some paper towel dispensers in the locker room area at least. No need to shut down the sauna/steam room at the same time for cleaning either when you can just keep one of the two open all the time. Trainers are very friendly and great selection of equipment and weights to use. Olympic lifting platforms are awesome but slightly damaged from people dropping heavy weights, need maintenance. Good but could be a lot better

I have been frequenting this location for about a year and half. From what I understand, the location was a Sport, not that long ago, but changed to the current status of Super Sport. The downside is that the facilities were never properly upgraded to reflect that change. For example, the showers are pretty bad, they have mold/mildew in spots and corrosion with the shower stalls being separated by some translucent glass. Other Super Sport locations I've been to have nice showers with completely separate shower "rooms," for lack of a better word, where the showers have actual walls between them and they have hooks on the wall to hang stuff, a larger open area to shower in, and rails/little seat against the wall. Something to note: when I first signed-up the guy said they had a swim suit dryer on order, but they were just waiting for the funds to come through, so obviously, that's not going to happen any time soon. They also don't have hair dryers, plastic bags like for wet/smelly clothes, or nice bathrooms, like other Super Sports. They stopped doing towel service last December, which was company-wide, but one of the reasons I chose this location over the one at the Spectrum Center 24 Hour Fitness. The dry sauna was just re-done a few months ago, which took over a month to complete. Also, they do try to bring in new equipment, like yesterday they installed two deadlift stations downstairs. The men's locker room is fairly small and awkwardly designed so that it's difficult to find room to get dressed. There is a basketball court downstairs and there is also a giant room with hardwood flooring and mirrors all around, where they do yoga, Zumba, etc classes. There is also a pool, wet sauna, dry sauna, and Jacuzzi downstairs.Upstairs are all the cardio machines and weight machines/benches/etc. I can only really speak to how the gym is on weekday mornings. The staff is always friendly and courteous and it seems like the personal trainers really care about their clients. I've never seen the soap dispensers empty in either the showers or the sinks, so that's a plus. Overall, this gym is convenient for me and I've made it work, but for pickier people, you might not like it.

This is by far the worst 24 hour gym I've been to. The lockers are tiny, the layout is totally bizarre with a schizophrenic vibe. The equipment selection is bad, no place to stretch, the employees aren't very friendly and if it wasn't for the fact hardly anyone is here in the morning and it wasn't so close to work Id definitely go to a different gym. Just my opinion.

It looks that The 24 hr. Fitness corporate office has given up on the Super Sport located in Irvine Blvd., Irvine just across from Los Olivos Marketplace. This location has 8 Ellipticals machines; 5 of them have been broken for over 3 months; about 5 months ago, they stopped providing towels to the members (BAIT AND SWITCH), mens bathrooms smells so much urine, that is a need to leave the door open; the aftermath? The All mens loocker smells urine. A big percentage of the equipment needs to be replace. Mens showers plumbing is not working properly. This location, under the circunstances cannot, and should not charge their members for a Super Sport.
Feedback:
Actually my husband and I love this location!! The only reason I put 3 stars is because someone stole my husbands iPhone 10 when he played basketball:/ and I lost my iPod here ..So be careful to leave your stuff there
Feedback:
Used to be better but still pretty good. I wish they did not remove the free towel service, that was awesome! Wifi is descent and free. Pool area is nice to work out or relax. Need a few more seating devices. Upstairs, cardio area in unbalanced: too many ellipticals, not enough stair-masters or good incline treadmills. I like the basketball court!!!
Feedback:
I use to go to this gym when I worked in the area. They have decided to become a super sport and I only have a sport membership (confusing as this was the only option at the time I paid for a 2 year membership in advance). They let me use the facilities, anyway. Nothing super about this location. Equipment is getting old and rusty. The showers use to have curtains, but now you get to show it all off! I got in early, so got a good workout and beyond the several broken elliptical machines, found one that worked.
Feedback:
I was going to give the club a 4, but can't really. The locker room is a disaster. The lockers are small, the area itself is small and crowded and the showers are so small you can't even stand in them really; you are more in the shower room than in the shower. They are also very dirty, r at least appear so; which is the same thing in my book. They need to completely revamp the locker room areas.
Feedback:
I weight train at this location 5-7 days a week. I've been a member for 13-14 years. They've been steadily making improvements to the facility ever since I first joined. All the staff members are good people. My only recommendation for them would be to add another power rack or two for squats, as well as a dedicated area/platform for deadlifting, although I wouldn't know where they would put them as the space in the weight area already seems pretty maxed out. There are definitely more than a few older and rarely used weight machines that could be removed to make some more room for new equipment. Either way though I'm very pleased with this place overall. Thumbs up.
Feedback:
Very disappointed with 24 hour fitness overall, this location was a sport level now it's a super sport level? All they did was add a few new machines towel service and blended sports drinks at the snack bar, And I have to pay 10 extra bucks for this! No thank you!!!! The 24 location at the spectrum just up the street was down graded to sport level and for that I have to put up with over crowding in the gym and parking lot. The Rancho location in Lake Forest when I signed up told me this was a sport level location when complained to them about the change I got nothing but a dead pan look and a comment its listed on the website and no apology. I relied on what they told me as being accurate. As far as I'm concerned this was bait and switch. I'm filing a complaint with the state attorney generals office.
