For a peace of mind lost two sons. 1 years ago and then six months ago I pray everyday to make me stronger and get me out of this dark place I had let my whole body down my my comes and goes but I pray everyday I do have two grandsons and a daughter I miss them dearly like I said no one can never tell me nothing until you walk in my shoes until you lose a child 2 I pray for everyone including my enemies keep God first

Feedback:

Been coming here since I was a kid. Lots of memories from the pier and Main Street. Would be nice if they had great fish restaurants at the end of the pier but nothing too special here for fish restaurants. Quite touristy on the weekends. Nice place to visit if you like to be around people on the weekends. Quality of beach water here though leaves a lot to be desired as water is not that clean. Pier is nice for a walk with the family.

This is one of the longest public piers in California. It was rebuilt once in my life, after a large storm damaged it years ago. There is a great hamburger restaurant at the end with fabulous views of the Huntington Beach coast, Long Beach, Palos Verdes, and on a good day the island of Catalina about 18 miles away. The base of the pier has an excellent restaurant named Dukes, and there is something going on almost every weekend on the sand or in the water. We have multiple surf competitions during the year, an air show, and volleyball tournaments. This past weekend there was something I haven't seen before: wave runner races. There is a kite shop and fishing on the pier! Something for everyone and you must walk it when you visit Surf City.

Feedback:

Not a whole lot to do on this pier compared to the pier in Santa Monica. There is a restaurant serving up tasty food, a couple of fun small stores and nasty bathrooms. You can watch people you don't know fish. Yawn. It's still fun to stroll down the pier and soak up the rays while enjoying great views of the ocean and beach. Lots of photo opps. Glad it's free. 🐟🐠🐡
