They still do slices so I had the usual 2 slices and a can of soda from them. Just ate it up in the shade curbside to them parked next door on the street. At night this place is a real "slice" (yes, I went there) of local color. Good pizza, cheesy pizza, good quality, good prices. They're been on Newport/29th forever, must be doin something right. Only frontage for store, so no real place to eat in and no public restroom, but hey NB is like that as a whole.

Scrumptious as hell! Wow! This pizza packs a punch full of flavor. Cheese is very stringy and savory along with their tangy, but sweet tomato sauce. The smell from this place alone, brought me in. 3$ a slice for a big flap of cheese pizza is such a great deal. This pizza is the closest I've tasted to New York pizza, and trust me, once you have NY pizza, everything else is mildly disappointing. Guy was so nice that he even gave me an extra slice. * Originally had three slices before the photo*

YESTERDAY, I work for Postmates, and I as actually doing two pickup orders. I came all the way from Laguna to deliver 2 orders. The employees were smoking on their job, and they thought I weans bilingual and took over 35 minutes to make two pizzas and it was not busy on a Monday night. They were racially discriminating me, Thought I didn't understand them and they gave the wrong order, they were obviously high on their job. Employees made a mistake and took their anger STILL OUT ON ME AS IF I MESSED UP THE ORDERS. OTHER PEOPLE CAME AFTER ME AND THEY DID 2 ORDERS FASTER ,NO IT WASNT POSTMATES OR DOORDASH A SIMPLE WALKIN ORDER. NEVER IN MY ENTIRE LIFE WILL I EVER GO TO THIS PLACE EVER AGAIN. ID RATHER GO TO LITTLE CAESARS. SHEESH, FINNA TIP THEM TOO. LOL WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE & GAVE OTHER CUSTOMERS ATTITUDE TOO . I HAVE A VOICE RECORDING ON TOP OF THAT TOO, AND THEY SAW I HAD IT RECORDING AND THEY DIFFERENT AFTER LOLLLLLLLL

Best pizza in Newport Beach. So delicious and tasty. Each bite makes u long for the next. Crunchy and cheesy and not too saucy. It's the perfect balance, it's a great taste. Employees/owner were singing and very merry. Happy environment and delicious food. They also offer up salads, wings, bottled and can drinks, fountain drinks.they have a full menu. Check them out next time your in Newport. You wont be disappointed

Small place with no seating and it's a little difficult to find parking sometimes. The food is made to order, and the pizza hand tossed. The cheese is perfectly portioned throughout the pizza and the crust is light. There's no options for deep dish though if that's your preference. Tried some boneless and traditional wings, and they were both tasty. Overall a solid pizza spot.

Where in Miami is some of the best and most authentic Italian food? In Little Haiti of course. A friend picked this place for lunch today and it was killer. Everyone there is Italian. The pizza was incredible. The salad was perfect. The meat and cheese platter was perfect. I rarely post but wow, this place is a winner. Eat there. I command thee.....

You know Laventina's is good if you find yourself standing outside and all you hear are passersby talking about how amazing their pizzas are! My boyfriend and I were hungry for some food after a day at Newport Beach and this place was conveniently located only 0.3 miles away from the pier. There is ONLY metered parking here and it costs $0.25 for 10 minutes, so make sure to put in at least 30 minutes worth of parking so you don't end up with a ticket. Laventina's is NOT a dine-in restaurant. I'd say that it's more like a pizza shack than anything. They do deliveries and you are more than welcome to call in and carry out as well, which is something many locals choose to do in order to avoid waiting in a long line here. I got very lucky during a saturday afternoon where there was only one party in front of me!For about $11 I was able to order a medium one-topping pizza with 2 canned sodas. The estimated wait time was quoted at 10 minutes but came out much faster since it wasn't too busy. The pizza comes fresh out of the oven and there's no better way to experience a Laventina's pizza like a FRESHLY baked slice!! I definitely plan on coming back here, my only wish is that they were bigger so that you could dine in with your friends rather than sitting on the curbside eating your boxed pizza.

Quick disclaimer: I'm born and raised in Chicago deep dish pizza is life. While drunk leaving the bars, we stopped by here and ordered a couple of pies. The price point was kinda steep but they have no competition. I ate this thin crust pizza and was pleasantly surprised by the taste. The staff was friendly and humorous.
