I was weary about being in the desert but after my experience at Cycles of Change I now consider it home!The most dedicated staff, experienced and genuine. A beautiful mix of providing individual care as well as a great feel of community support between clients and staff. I couldn’t ask for a better place to begin life again. I love each and every person I worked with and I will never forget them. Just Beautiful!

This was my first time in treatment and it has been the most amazing experience. The staff has experience in drug addiction and has strong solid recovery. Tamisha was my councilor through my six months of treatment and I couldn't think of a better example of recovery. She is very energetic and passionate about this program and she makes sure we have a balance with fun recovery and getting down to business in the work. She always told me how it is and helped me grow and learn in all aspects of my life. Even when she wasn't working she would come and check on me and be of service 24/7. I could tell that this is more than a job to her and that she truly does love and care for every single client that comes through. When I left she proceeded to call and check up on me and see how my recovery is going. She has the biggest heart and leads by example through good and bad times we can stay sober one day at a time. I am forever grateful for this rehab and am blessed to have been apart of it.

I am so impressed with this program, from the counselors to the facility's them self. I was there for 56 days and have learned more about myself in that little amount a time then i have ever known before. Tamisha was my counselor but she was more like family to me, she has a compassion for her job that is unparalleled to any counselor that i have had before. not only are the counselor's great, the staff as a whole is so involved with my recovery. I am so happy to have been able to come down here. This place has truly saved my life. WITH LOVE Justin Hollis

I have experienced an extended stay at COC and DFC for which i am very grateful. The thing I have learned on my road to recovery is that it is a along unfamiliar terrain and requires a humilitive student like approach. Anything short of this and one will resort to trying to gain control of a situation under repair. Understanding this is paramount to getting everything available during recovery and avoiding self sabotage behaviour. I am extremely grateful for all that has been taught to me while in inpatient COC/DFC and as i continue IOP. I hope that anyone considering taking recovery seriously finds their way here. IT IS A GOOD PLACE!!!!!!! Thank you Joe for everything.

Staff at this facility is absolutely some of the best I could ever recommend for anyone with a loved one who suffering. They don’t sugarcoat things, they will tell your love ones the hardest truths they need to face and if you’re lucky I’ll come out better people. Facilities are warming, the staff extremely caring! Joe Hunter, Tamisha Brown, Georgi Stokes and the rest of the team of experts really do need to be commended for the work they do! If your loved one needs help don’t go to some BS facility where it’s nothing more than a vacation because all it is is an overpriced joke. If someone truly needs and wants to get well they need to deal with the trials and tribulations. Cycles of change will make them face those. The family workshops are tremendous and have learned quite a bit about helping take care of myself.

I came to C.O.C broken, confused, and hopeless that I could ever be free from the struggle of my life as a daily drunk. My alcoholism had taken me to my lowest. Cycles of change gave me back my life. My counselor Tamisha walked me through some of my darkest hours and gave me the tools to learn about the life I was intended to live. The staff here at cycles are like a family with open arms ready to receive a new family member. I am forever grateful to be a sober family member and share in the joys of our recovery.

Cycles of Change is such an amazing place. All of the staff, especially the CEO, Joe Hunter, is amazing, they go above and beyond for their clients. The Family Program is remarkable and it provides the family's with the tools to learn how to recover themselves from their enabling an codependent behaviors. I would definitely send a loved one here. Thank you Cycles of Change for being one of the few places that provide a safe and ethical environment where addicts and alcoholics can come and do the work they need to do.

This program really cares about the people in it. The staff are very professional and really involved with individual needs. Counselors call parents and the family program is very informative. I would recommend this place to anyone who is serious about change! The counselors are in recovery and the CEO Joseph Hunter works hands on with client and family members. This place is awesome!!!

We sent my son there upon his arrival he has a horrible experience. The owner was screamed and yelled at him being extremely unprofessional. This is an inferior place to send anyone. They kicked my son out with no where to go in his vulnerable state. We were able to get him into a reputable place which sent an Uber to pick him up for a two hour drive! Thank God for Ocean Hills in Dana point. This place charged me for my co-pay for medication and they did not give him his medication when he left! Stay clear of this place!

I am so grateful for Cycles of Change Recovery. I came into COC in 2015. I had literally lost everything and came into COC with no family support. I was scared and had no idea what would happen once I got to the facility. Shannon who was my Intake coordinator, she was just amazing. When I got to the facility I was welcomed by amazing staff and the CEO Joe Hunter (who waited till 11pm I was supposed to be there at 5pm). I entered Cycles of Change thinking the only problem I had was with abusing drugs and alcohol. But really I had no idea how to live life sober until I started working with my counselor. Which was the next day. The staff are extremely hands on with every client. I was shocked at how hands on each staff member was with every client. They loved me when I didn’t love myself. Cycles of Change showed me a new way of life, they introduced to me the 12 Steps of recovery through the Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous. I have never been a reader but I found myself not being able to put the book down. I honestly can’t thank Cycles of Change enough for saving my life, and showing life is worth living without drugs and alcohol. Today I have 2 years and 1 month clean and sober and my life is so amazing today. I never thought I could stay sober an hour better yet 1 year. Of course I have good days and bad days, but I have tools to deal with life today. Today I am a granddaughter, a daughter, a niece, a friend etc. I work with other women that are struggling with the disease of addiction. And that is how I stay sober today. I highly recommend Cycles of Change to anyone. If you want to really change your life and get the best treatment around then I recommend COC. They are not just a Treatment facility they are my family. And I am truly grateful for this second chance at life.
