I found the personnel from the floor staff, nurses, doctors and administrators to be competent through very busy times but appropriately attentive as required from the ER to the hospital to the post-... more

First of all I have dealt with this hospital for many years really had no choice. My mother had to be hospitalized and of course nobody was allowed in. So I call to check in on her and the help and service she doesn’t get blows me away. The nurse can’t even speak clear English and hang up on you and talk over you when asking questions. This place is a joke and the nurses need to learn to be better at there jobs.

Overall everybody was greeting me with smiles and even though i felt like a ping pong ball going here than there. When i reached the emergency room entrance, wrist throbbing from pain which is why i went to the hospital, i didnt appreciate waiting watching two RNs attend to something more important on the computer and them making eye contact w me and not acknowledging my presence. I waited patiently while the two tried to figure out whatever it was that was more important than helping me. When they finally helped me i found out i was in the wrong building. Annoyed and in pain i asked if they were sure i wasnt in the wrong place, the security guard did a great job in aggressively stating "Sir! The place you are looking for is outside and just make a left." I left and he returned to his post diligently doing his job of eyeing people making sure law and order is upheld. I hope the two RNs were able to accomplish that task that was so important that it took both of them to figure it out and was more important than assisting me.

I have came here for multiple problems with my health and from my experience a lot doctors just want money out of you. Yes, Kaiser Permanente is convenient with all of its services put into one place. There is a lot of illegal stuff going on here and the staff always claims they are here to help everyone that is a lie they helping themselves to your money. If there is another provider go to them it’s not worth wasting your time coming here. Been here couple times a while back when I was really ill could have died I didn’t get the medication I needed until after few appointments. The pharmacy lady mocked me for buying a lot of stuff but I couldn’t go to the store because I was sick. There you be covered by insurance pay double because your doctors want to make money off your dying body.

As a Kaiser Permanente member I may visit any Kaiser facility. While my regular Kaiser facility is Woodland Hills, I was closer to Panorama City so I went there for a blood test. All my records are available at each hospital. After the blood draw and testing, the results are sent to the appropriate medical department and also to my cell phone. I can quickly see how I'm doing. (Everything was okay.)Parking is free. Charging stations are available. Everything is wheelchair accessible. There are many elevators and a bridge to help you move around the facility. The cafeteria located on the first floor, is shiny and bright. A few vegan entrees were available. I ordered stir-fried vegetables and potatoes. It was very good. Seating on the rooftop patio, and in the large dining area, is available. Prices are reasonable. This is a large facility and will involve much walking. It's an easy to get misdirected. I asked staff and was directed to the department I was looking for.

Came in yesterday to UC dept. Although I was feeling terrible and the outcome was not positive. Jomirah, one of the nurses was able to console me in my situation. She kept in touch with us as we waited for the labs. She made sure to tell us about how long our wait time was, just letting me feel that I existed in the middle of so much going on. The urgent care was busy, I could tell since I also work in the health care industry. Giving my circumstance this meant a lot. My husband had previously asked one of the other nurses a question and I noticed her just pointing him out (3 times) to the triage nurse, and telling him we’re busy right now, just to rid of him. People like Jomirah need to be acknowledged and praised of their humanitarian work. Some people do the job, for a paycheck and others with compassion.Thank you, Jomirah!!!

Honestly the best experience as far as hospitals are concerned. The surgeons, nurses & staff were wonderful. The surgeons:Dr. Sarkisyan - AmazingDr. Sherif - wonderfulNurses:Tyler - unbelievableRaquel - wonderfulI wish I knew the names of others - but under the circumstances, it was a pleasant and memorable experience. If one has to be in a hospital, that’s the place to be.On behalf of my family ... Thank you all!

Always takes more than an hour waiting in line regardless of the urgency of the patients,.. then the doctors will only look at you without checking very thoroughly, in less than 5mins, they'll just say random findings. Very rude customer representatives as well. Plus, they'll send you surprise bills that weren't discussed during the visit.

There are some great doctors here and some terrible.ones. If you are admitted make sure a loved one watches over you, spends some time at the hospital with you, and is an advocate for you. My husband was not given meds he was supposed to get, call buttons are not answered for long periods of time, and some of the staff do not have a concept of the fact that patients are patients and need to be respected as such. Speak up if you feel you are not getting the care you need.
