I visited here today. Again we wait for over 30 just to get in the building. Product is excellent but the tented in line was crudely constructed and caused confusion. Great pre-rolls got eight bucks a... more

Exactly what you would expect from a dispensary in MA. They did not offer any curbside or online pickup for adult use, therefore we had to walk inside. Staff was extremely friendly and prices affordable. Menus are changing daily, so I would recommend waiting until you arrive to see what inventory they have for the day. They have their own parking lot which makes quick trips easy. There was a line, but it was very short. Only took about 20 mins from start to finish.
Feedback:
I am writing today after a disturbing experience I just had at Patriot Care Lowell. I reserved a online pickup order and when I arrived at the dispensary I was horrified to see a line stretching around the building with barely any social distancing taking place. I was instructed by the parking attendant that both medical users and recreational had to wait in the same long line. Its not the wait that disturbed me, its the fact that that are putting medical users and recreational in the same line is unacceptable. Many of us have underlying conditions such has HIV or cancer and cannot be exposed like this in a pandemic. I was forced to leave the property without getting any medicine. Furthermore whose idea was it to allow medical facilities to start selling recreational too. Its not fair to the medical users who have been pushed aside for bigger profits, they needed us in the beginning to launch those dispensaries but now it seems though medical users have been forgotten.
Feedback:
long time med patient here and i miss when this place was med only. seems like they care more about rec sales then med. was waiting in the med line for 20 minutes while the rec line was moving along. at least it was a nice day out. ordered online beforehand and they gave me a different strain then what i ordered on leafly which i noticed once i got home. no biggie, mix ups happen so i call and ask them if i can pull up curbside just to switch it out real quick. i come back and the security guards are always super rude. spoke to one of them they told me to pull into medical curbside. i’m waiting a while then another security walks by so i ask him if i’m in the right spot for med curbside and he proceeds to tell me he doesn’t think medical curbside exists. i explain my issue and he just walks away on his walkie talkie. eventually someone comes out to switch up my order but they don’t believe that i ordered a different one than i was given so i show my email receipt. pretty annoying experience every time i go just to pick up some bud. the budtenders here are great and the weed quality has gone up within the last year. just wish they had a better system set up
Feedback:
I have been coming here, as a medical patient for years. Lately, they seem to care more about themselves and Recreational patients then the medical ones. I got to dispensary 15 minutes before closing time (would have come earlier but was not able to) and they turned me away bc the Rec line was too long and they had people inside waiting for medical. I think that was so wrong of them to turn away medical patients but continue to accept recreational patients. Won’t be back for a while, will bring my business elsewhere
Feedback:
I started recreational and went medical because pandemic, absolutely worth the very minimal effort it took to actually get the medical card. If you can afford it do it. I have no real basis of comparison as this is the only dispensary I've ever used but the selection is usually good except for sativa. Which sucks because I use it for adhd. On a personal note as a trans guy who hasn't changed his legal name or gender marker because he spends all his money on weed I've never had an issue both with my ID and my face but also in general. Staff is really great.
Feedback:
Was a great store until they brought in Recreational. Always said medical will come first but more and more recreational is coming first. Minimal parking now that they opened lots to recreational. No spots reserved for medical. Recreationalline moves faster than medical. Always running out of product. Bring cash as they don’t wave debit fees anymore. May as well just be a rec shop now.
Feedback:
Lana was extremely nice, knowledge, and upbeat while helping me with my M.S. Medication. If Patriots Care was reviewed on the sole basis of Lana’s customers service skills she would place on the high 3 star area. Patriots Care should try at the very least to offer more savings as many other dispensary have been doing during this tragic time in all our lives. Patriots Care does not offer delivery, any new specials, and my cart was full and when I went to pick up they claimed the pick up cart is not up to date! Well, with so many people working from home I personally believe “NOW” would be the time to have people working on newer better systems for setting aside orders (that are also updated and true to what is for sale that day,) also set up a delivery service as many people that need medication delivery should 100% be up and running! I pay $18 EACH WAY for a total of $36 per visit for an Uber, after 28 years of having a valid license I am no longer able to drive because of my MS. While many other dispensaries are offering special’s, I have not seen anything new at Patriots Care but, I have no choice because of my travel problems. My immune system is at 50% due to the disease and you would think that they would have a true time up to date cart option but, again they fail again. No delivery, terrible options to put aside orders, and no special’s SHAME ON THEM for lack of making these things available to the sick and dying! I am going again tomorrow and I hate I have no other choice. Patriots Care get your act together!

It was my first time at Patriots Care and I was extremely lucky to get Sara (with the pink hair.) Sara Was very patient with me, knowledgeable about all medications, and had a great attitude. I have subsequently been back and I must say that I edited this review because nobody has come to the standards that I look for the Sara. I had been a High School History Teacher at Malden High School and at Braintree High School, I was a Vice President (second one charge world wide) at Putnam Investment’s in Boston MA, and a manager at Macy’s in for 13 years so I can say without a doubt Sara is the employee that everyone at Patriots Care should strive to become.. Sara has a great personality, has a witty sense of humor, and very personable. Sara has an extensive knowledge about the product. Lastly, Sara definitely has the skills to up-sell products. I have been to Patriots Care seven times in total unfortunately, I have not had the pleasure of having Sara again. It is I’m my opinion and I definitely know what I am taking about that Sara should give a class or become the Sales Teacher at Patriots Care.My fiancé (that has end stage liver failure and is nauseous, has no appetite, but many time is lethargic, and I suffer from a form of MS called White Matter Disease and I want to information the owner or manger of Patriots Care that Sara (with the pink hair) has what it takes to either be an educator sales or at the very least teach a class monthly for every employee must take. Things Sara has that she could teach other employees for two very important reasons - She treats patients with dignity and care and she knows her stuff and can sell more by adding on product’s which is called up-selling, this means she is great for sales. List of things Sara can teach other employeeA. Always be upbeat , smile, treat patients like you care about them B. Very knowledgeable of products, which in turn she gave suggestions for that persons needs. ie I suffer from anxiety and muscle pain and my fiancé has nausea, ADHD, and lack of hunger, Sara suggested medication’s that was tailored to both of our needs. That makes a patient trust her and will bring customers back as they have felt a relief from the affliction they have.C. Sara know’s what medication are “Custom Fit” to each individual this leads to up-selling. Up-selling is the ability to add on products. So her “Items Per Sale,” are above average. That make’s patients happy and the business of Patriots Care goes up so the Manager and Owner’s are happy. D. Sara in our opinion has definitely been the employee to admire and strive to become. We spend $18 each way for an Uber since we both do not have a licenses. Both of us after 31 years of driving, no longer have a license due to purr disease can no longer drive safely. So if we are paying $36 round trip to get our medication, Sara up-sold at least 4 items to us. That up-selling is adding on items that are both good for the people and good for business. My fiancé and I both have not had an employee like Sara, at Patriots Care and we both have discussed this problem, Brian is blasé, could care less about the afflictions he could help people deal with, was not personable, did not make suggestions or ask questions i.e. “What Kind of Medication Are You Trying To Find,” “How Are You Doing Today,” Thank You For Coming to Patriots Care, Hope To See You Back Soon.” Lana was so sweet and nice, all she needs is a little training. I have trained many people, Lana can be a great employee she just needs to go to a class taught by Sara or maybe work side by side with Sara for a few shifts, she has potential. As for Brain maybe he had a terrible . I just want to say I do recommend Patriots Care but, they need to have more sales training, product knowledge, a much more upbeat attitude, and a smile, hello, and goodbye go a long way. Patriots Care is still new but, wow the Manager needs to get their act together soon. Summer is coming and dispensary’s in Somerville and Ayer offer better deal’s and taking the T is cheaper.

People are complaining about the lines. Sorry folks, that's just how it is. If you're mad at medical users, go to a doctor and get your medical card. We don't have to wait outside with you for a reason. Lots of us are sick, can't stand, have anxiety of groups, physical disabilities. Stop complaining because you can't get stoned and there is nothing wrong with you.The staff here are AMAZING. Knowledgeable, friendly, and fast. They know me by name. Even the dudes holding doors are nice. Selection used to not be as good. Wish they had more 5 packs of prerolls but I get there after works so...NOW the selection is really good.Prices are not that expensive. Yes, unused to buy a quarter for $50 back in the day, but it was junk. 1/8 is $50 and it's good bud, no seeds etc...Edibles abound here. I love it here.
Feedback:
Implementing safe standards while remaining open to service the public by making purchasing by appointment only at this time. While it may frustrate people understand they are putting your health first. My only complaint is selection. I hoped smaller quantities were available for purchase as I dont need or want much. More selection of pre rolls or grams would be great
