I get sick of everyone telling me where I have to get pizza from. Everyone has their place they get pizza. If you don't have your place in LA yet and are looking for one try this place. The price is a little more than the chains but quality costs more. This is some of the best pizza I've ever had. It really is good pizza. The crust is just right. A little thicker than thin with just the right chewiness. I've gone through most of their pizzas and recommend all but the BBQ. It has pizza sauce and BBQ sauce and caramelized onions (which probably soak in a 9 pan) which makes for a very soggy center. It's their only pizza that you can't pull a slice from. The center just stays in the box. If that pizza had only one sauce and maybe just regular onions it'd probably be as awesome as the others - one day I'll probably order it that way but there's so many other ones to order I just haven't yet. That's the only kinda bad thing I can say. So keep that in mind if you order the BBQ but otherwise order any other pizza in complete confidence. When ordering online I suggest using The Slice. For some reason the 3 ordering options are all a little different. Chow Now has free delivery but they have a much more limited selection and all the prices are a few dollars higher. The Slice charges a $2 delivery fee with a .95 cent service fee but the pizzas are cheaper and they offer the full menu. Postmates charges a $2.99 delivery fee and other additional fees and their pizzas are like $5 more! Ridiculous. Look for yourself. If you haven't had The Good Pizza you really should try it. I bet it'll be your go to pizza place from now on

This is the best pizza I've had in LA since moving here again from Europe. This is the best European style pizza I've had here. Thin ish crust..perfectly thick and crunchy with a nice mild flavor. For this TYPE of slice I haven't had better anywhere. If your looking for a deep dish or Chicago style you will not enjoy! My new cafe spot...thank you for existing. Enjoy the photo of my slice!!!

The owner, Nando is from northern Italy, and really takes care to provide the finest ingredients, all made with love. It is an unexpected find in a strip mall, but don’t just think of this as a pizza place, their Bolognese sauce, Osso Buco, and chicken marsala or off the charts, and serve up hi restaurant quality dishes, at strip mall prices. Beer and wine, happy hour including Aperoll spritz and snacks make this a family friendly, local joint not to be missed in 90293

It should be named Excellent Pizza. We were visiting a friend and stopped here for lunch. The pizza is great, the salad very fresh, staff is excellent. Sean Ryan spent a lot of time with us talking about the restaurant and explaining delivery policy. If we are ever in the area, this will be our go to pizza restaurant. Recomend it highly.

I tried their calzone on 2 separate occasions and got a stomach ache both times. The first stomach ache I thought it was a combination of eating too fast and the drinking, but the second time I wasn't drinking and it was so bad that I was throwing up at 3AM and again at 7AM! It really sucks that I can't trust this place anymore because they're walking distance from where I live.

I've been to this spot only once, but just like his other location this one is just as perfect, it is however kind of a snug fit for parking, but it's certainly not impossible or anything. They still are the best pizza in Playa Del Rey for sure. I know for sure I remember seeing awards plastered all over their walls from winning awards for their pizza, so it would not surprise me to find they are the best pizza in California. I'd vote for that!

Best Italian restaurant in Los Angeles. I'm not kidding. That said, I haven't been to some of the incredibly expensive places, and Pizzaria Mozza is a worthy rival, but the owner-operator is Italian and makes all the gnocchi and ricotta salata himself (to give you an idea). It's in a totally unassuming strip mall and is a small, very casual place, but the food is really amazing.

my opinion has changed based on lack of customer service and integrity.they dont care about customer service here... my regular was chicken mushroom alfredo so tonight on my way home about 8:30 pm i stopped by for my favorite meal. I ordered my usual and the man said it was $15.99 usually it was about $9/10 he said they raised their prices and increased the portion sizes too. he assured me that there will be more chicken and mushrooms.... when i got home and looked at the food it did not have more chicken or mushrooms in it - it had more pasta that was all. when i called the lady flat out said she didnt care and they increased their prices and that was the end of it... she didnt care she lost a regular customer. that is greedy management and they dont deserve my hard earned money if they dont care about me as a customer...

While it may sound odd, their best is on the pastas. Any pasta is carefully crafted here. Make sure to try their pink vodka sauce as well!While it may be a personal preference, pizza dough tends to be a bit chewy and with lots of loose flour something I call "sandy", however, the ingredients are fresh and the pizza is cooked to perfection.
