Overall Feedback:

SAFE DURING COVID 19I just had my first in-home massage with Janelle and I was very impressed and reassured by all of the precautions she is taking during Covid-19 (listed below). My massages with Janelle were something I missed dearly during the past several months of quarantine and was relieved to see that I can continue because thankfully she is just as professional and careful about safety as she is in all other aspects of her business. She entered my house wearing a facemask (as did I) and with freshly sanitized hands. Here are all the steps I witnessed (although there could be more I missed): (1) she sanitized her hands prior to entering my home(2) she kept her facemask on for the entire duration of the visit(3) she set up the massage table in my preferred location, sanitized her hands and then sanitized and wiped the entire surface of the massage table including the head rest (and underside of head rest), (4) she thoroughly wrapped the entire sanitized table in new plastic sheet, and thoroughly wrapped the sanitized head rest in an overlapping fashion with new plastic wrap(5) she placed a fresh clean sheet on top of the table, and secured it around the edges to the underside of the table, (6) over the sanitized and plastic-wrapped head rest, she used a new disposable fabric head rest cover [she even made a little "loose facemask" hanging down with the extra headrest material so that I could remove my own facemask while facing down - I did put my facemask back on before I turned to face up halfway through the massage] (7) she sanitized her hands once more prior to the massage (and requiring me to do so as well), and (8) I wore a face mask during the massage [yet she still did a great job of an effective scalp and neck massage (my favorite part!) even though it was on!]We were still able to use lovely essential oils and have calming music. I also opted to put my own sheet set on top of all of her precautions for extra comfort (and to ease her laundry burden!)Although my massage was in-home, she did tell me that for in-office appointments she is required by her insurance to space the appointments by 1 hour so she can filter the air with a HEPA filter and disinfect all surfaces.I hear of other practitioners who don't even wear a facemask while working on patients. It is too risky right now and Covid is a very serious concern. Thank you Janelle for keeping your clients safe and well in every way!You are the best!Jessica
