I love this place. The staff is amazing. All the counselors are great to talk too. I especially love talking to kayla! Shes always so bubbly and positive and always puts a smile on my face. Another person who I enjoy talking to is Dave! He Is one of the counselors there and I feel like I can trust him with anything and if I need to be told something that most people dont like to hear hes very gentle and empathetic! And one more person I value there is leo, he is usually in the x booth! Hes always so happy to see me and always asks about my day and how is my recovery going. Almost like a great friend would. He even notices when I am having a awful day and let's me vent and take my anger our on these rubber duckies he had on his desk. Its great. Overall love this place

When dealing with Health Department, it is better to ask for forgiveness later than ask for permission. Here is tru story to prove it. On Monday, went in to consult about adding rice to the menu. Person I consulted said to sent procedures and equipment to be added. I replied with exact procedure and one electric rice cooker (NSF approved) to be added. Basic answer back was that I needed to pay $485 plus do plan review. The process was too complicated, so I sent email that I will not add rice to the menu. On Wednesday, today, 2 inspectors came out. One of them was the very same person I consulted. Having 2 inspectors coming out to inspect an existing restaurant was unheard of. One time it happed in 20 years restaurant experience was when one was getting trained. This wasn’t the case. I feel very targeted and discriminated. I will be retaliated by writing this review also. If that happens, will write a review. Hope more Restaurant owners will join me to write legislative representatives. One more thing to keep in mind is that different inspectors have different interpretations about same thing. This means you will have to pay Pak $200 to be reinserted. If you are new restaurant, that will be $500. Put that in you budget to opening the restaurant. Almost forgot one other thing. Person I consulted was kind enough to watch over my cook for 20 minutes during rush to find all she can. This never happened in 20 year experience, both in California or this state. Unless you have money to burn, stay away.One recommendation. Video tape the inspection process to review be reviewed and use as evidence later. I will be doing it going forward.

Why don’t they just call this agency the Tacoma Pierce County Death Department?The air quality down by the GEO detention center in the port industrial area is extremely bad, and this Part of Tacoma is not zoned for human habitation, but nonetheless it holds 1,600 inmates and hundreds of additional staff. Many nights the detention center its surrounded by idling semis (Tacoma has no idling regs) and Gould odors emanate from WestRock, which burns some 100 cubic yards of plastics per day. Many people who protest the site’s cruel treatment of prisoners of walk away with headaches after vigils for migrants and refugees who are abused for profit, yet our Health Department says they won't do anything about the horrendous health impacts of all this pollution. GEO profits from human misery takes priority over protection of human health and the environment. Its lobbying firm doles out often and generously to those in power.

Lousiest service I have ever dealt with in my 63 years of life. I have repeatedly left messages about a serious horrible mold issue that has kept me ill for over a year now and I just discovered all this mold in the place I have rented the last 2 years - told them repeatedly in messages how bad the mold was and that I have been ill for over a year - and in a week now of about 8 messages on voicemail - no one has even returned my calls. What a screw up system they have - they should all be fired including whoever is in charge who is so poorly over seeing the others!
