This experience was one of the hardest our family has ever had. Compassionate Care and Dr. Lori Gibson made it a lot more peaceful and allowed us to help our sweet Koda girl pass in the comfort of our home. I would recommend these amazing angels to anyone and everyone I know. This is truly the only option when it comes to saying good bye to our loved pets. We had a situation where we needed them to come out to our home in the middle of the night in fear our girl was in pain and would not make it till morning. We called them at 130 am and they arrived at our home at 215. Dr. Gibson explained everything that would happen and helped our 13 year old feel comfortable right away so we could send her last moments with her without her being scared or anxious. When the time came the doctor was calm, kind and gentle. Everything you would want. Looking back at it all this was the absolute best way to have it. We highly recommended you use this service.
Feedback:
We had to make the difficult decision to put our little poodle to sleep. We chose compassionate care due to a friend’s referral. The vet who came to our house was so kind and professional. When our dog had passed, she was wrapped up so nicely in a soft blanket and placed in their car. It made me feel that they would take good care of her body and were respectful of the dead. We chose to get her ashes back and a clay paw imprint. It was really nice. They made a very difficult time a little more bearable.

We all want what is best for our dogs. Sometimes what is best for them is the unthinkable. We had to help our dog be free from cancer pain and old age, and it was heartbreaking. Dr. Chirillo came to our house and helped our amazing dog move on. We were devastated at the loss and the choice we had to make. Dr. Chirillo was unbelievably helpful, professional, and kind. She helped us through one of the worst things we could imagine and her obvious concern for our best buddy’s comfort and well-being and her knowledge and calm presence turned a horrible thing into a beautiful experience for us and our favorite girl. I hope it is a long long time before we have to experience this sort of grief again, but if that time comes again I sincerely hope we can have Dr. Chirillo there again to help us.

I cannot put into words the loving kindness I experienced with Compassionate care. When my 22yr old love of my life Derian was in the process of passing the Dr who helped him transition was an angel. She came in so sweetly and gently, she was so respectful and present. She was a comfort to me in ways she could never fully know. If you want an experience that is totally affordable that honors the life and passing of your beloved family member, I would recommend these wonderful people.

It is never easy to lose a fur friend but we lost our Gordon unexpectedly. They took such good care of her and offered multiple options to choose from. As I mentioned this was unexpected so not in our typical budget and the prices for service was not extremely high. Ashley was absolutely compassionate in our time of mourning and treated Gordon just as she was. Part of our family. Thank you just isn't enough.
Feedback:
When it came time for our little miniature dachshund Angus to go to the happy hunting ground this team was recommended by our vet. We had called several clinics that day and every one of them was booked into next week. We were able to get same day service and Dr. Worobets came to our home. Because of COVID-19 she and my wife and I all had masks on and kept social distancing as much as possible. She explained what was going to happen next and then proceeded with giving an anesthesia mixed with a muscle relaxant and anti-anxiety medication. Our little buddy was feeling good after that and finally had no pain. Afterwards she administered the euthanasia injection and he peacefully went to sleep. The doctor monitored him until his heart stopped beating. It was good for our little dog and he was in familiar surroundings with people who loved him. Dr. Worobets is one of the kindest people you will ever meet. I was too emotional to thank her but my wife was able to convey our gratitude. The cost for the service was 260.00 and was worth every penny. I highly recommend this company.

I had to make the devastating decision to set my 18 year old best friend, youngest child, love of my life cat free from his health issues. This was absolutely the worst thing I've had to do in my life and I've been through a lot. Dr. Jessika made the experience of letting him go much more peaceful. She was so gentle, respectful of him, explained everything and spoke in a lovely tone which made us feel more at ease. The entire staff has been so empathetic, professional and is quick to respond to any questions. I feel better knowing that my sweet Fred was set free with the help of Dr. Jessika and her colleagues.

Paid $730 for long-distance, holiday, after-hours euthanasia of our family dog of 14 years, with private cremation. Obviously we would have liked to wait until the morning, but our girl was telling us it was time to go. The staff was very calm and considerate over the phone and in person, even as we flip-flopped the appointment time as we monitored our dog's health. The vet arrived within a very reasonable time for an hour car drive at night on a holiday. Was super courteous, did not rush the process or the family, and was very informative of the procedure and steps to everyone present, but did not make us stress more. It's a terrible thing to have to do, but this company is a good choice.

I am not someone who leaves reviews but I felt it was very important to share my story here. Likely if you are reading these reviews you’ve gotten to the point where you’ve had to make the horrible decision of planning to put down your best friend. I’ll keep it short for you, call Compassionate Care and I promise they will provide your pet with the best option available. If you’d like to continue reading about my experience then here you go:I was 14 years old when I was gifted a little 8 week old puppy I named Mavrick (yes I know it’s spelled wrong). I had begged for this specific puppy after coming across his sweet face on the OHS website. Mavrick and I did everything together. It got to the point where people became accustomed to seeing us together and therefore it was never just “hey Diana!” It was “hey Diana and Mavrick!” When I learned how to drive Mavrick was sitting the the back seat peering out the window with terror in his eyes. . . he was very dramatic but always insisted on coming along. After I became a legal driver and embarked on my first journey without a parent present Mavrick was there. When I embarked on my fitness journey he happily / reluctantly allowed me to drag him along on my runs (We were both out of shape and slow). When I graduated high school, I celebrated with him. When I started local college, I studied with him. When I met a cute guy, I told Mavrick. When that cute guy ended up being terrible, I hugged Mavrick. When I interviewed for my dream job, Mavrick was in the car during the interview. When I got the job and got promotions, I celebrated with Mavrick. Through all the things Mavrick was there. He was my best friend and he was my sidekick. But as he aged the writing was on the wall. What could I do to send my best friend off in a way that reflected and preserved all the time and memories we shared together in a way that was best for him. So I opted for an at home euthanasia where he could rest easy in his favorite spot in the front yard as he took his final breath. On the overcast misty morning of May, 25th 2019 A wonderfully warm woman named Trish arrived to help Mavrick on his way. I had a lot of anxiety about him leaving me both physically and emotionally and when I saw her arrive in a little Subaru and not a doggie coroner van, which is what my mind had pictured, I felt so much relief. After he passed I was able to place his body in the car myself, tuck him in with a blanket and tell him goodbye. Trisha was amazing and so kind that I instantly felt comfortable handing over my very best to this woman knowing that every peace of him was safe and respected. The service compassionate care provides is phenomenal and I couldn’t fathom doing it any other way. Mavrick was blissfully unaware and happy the entire time and that was all I ever wanted for him.
Feedback:
My sweet 17 year old cat recently became seriously ill while the pandemic made it impossible to see my vet in a timely manner. I contacted Compassionate Care - knowing it was time to help her pass. Dr Lori Gibson was at my home within 3 hours. Dr Gibson did all she could, under the circumstances, to protect my health and personal surroundings. I could not have asked for a more loving way to say goodbye. Dr Gibson's compassion and consideration of the pandemic was greatly valued.
