After a few days in Vegas with sub par food we found this a hidden gem, we had a starter of coconut shrimp that was amazingly fresh and flavorful. My wife ordered the White Sea bass special and I ordered the Filet Mignon, both entrees were cooked perfectly vegetables were fresh and perfectly steamed. Our service was really great, atmosphere was very casual and comfortable we will be returning on our next trip from Florida!

I visit this superb restaurant every couple of days since I like the good air that is part of this place. The team is exceptionally welcoming and skilfull. The service is remarkablywonderfully quick. Not to mention, the food you get is magnificent. I visited many times and I was always satisfied. The rate is reasobable. I highly suggest this place to to everybody.

Had a great meal! Really enjoyed my coconut shrimp and calimari...my wife ordered the swordfish, which tasted kinda off(meh, it happens sometimes)...but they jumped right in to correct it... recommend the sea bass, which turned out perfect...they even threw in a glass of wine to refresh the palette...all in all a great dinner at a wonderful Point Loma favorite!!

We came in on a Sunday night and there was no wait. The food is really good. I had traditional Fish & Chips and my wife had the New York steak. Everything was cooked perfectly. The ambiance was a bit dated and eclectic. There was live music and it was good. Wait staff was friendly but aloof. They would do well to make some repairs. But overall we enjoyed our dinner.

Went for the first time with my uncle who's a regular. Nicole our server has been there for years and is the best. She really makes the experience amazing there and is a true professional. Had great wine, New England clam chowder (super fresh and delicious), and shrimp. Give this place a try if you want to check out a real San Diego seafood establishment.

Was looking for a breakfast spot and stumbled across this place. The breakfast menu had a number of basics to choose from and a few special items. Seafood omelette, cowboy breakfast casserole were our choice to try. Both very good. The restaurant is on the top floor with stairs and an elevator. Patio seating, bar and a large number of seats to choose from inside. We will be back to try some other items.

Four of us (my daughter, her husband, my husband and myself) went to Fiddler's Green while on vacation here in San Diego. We were looking forward to a nice meal, but when we entered and saw a "seat yourself" sign, we knew we were off to a bad start. After waiting 10 minutes with no one stopping by our table to say it would be just a minute or bring us a glass of water, we got up and walked out. Apparently no one cared one way or another so guess what? We won't be back. You probably don't care about this review either, but I feel I owe it to fellow visitors to the area to know you really don't value our/their patronage.

Its a long story. I really hate writing bad reviews. Lets just say it caters to an older crowd. The decor and restaurant are nice. The staff seemed to be more focused on regulars than anything. (Talking alot, and forgetting about other people) The food lacked seasoning. So the flavors were very bland. I sent back an order. Ordered something else to go. And waited far too long for a beer. It was practically warm when I got it. Unfortunately we probably will not be returning.

I've been coming to fiddler's Green for at least fifteen years or so and always get the same thing, the coconut crunchy calamari is out of this world! Also love the live entertainment on the weekends and the owner is super friendly and always circulating through the restaurant making sure everyone is having a good time. Hope this place stays open another 15 years!

Very cool place. Great food! We had sauteed mushrooms for an appetizer along with bread and butter, and crunchy coconut combo and bacon wrapped filet mignon for dinner. We were so full by the end we took food home and could not fit in dessert, but we'll be back for that some other night. Everything is homemade and amazing, including the sauces (tartar, plum, blue cheese, and cocktail)!
