The Milk drink and chicken is always the best!!!!!!!!!!!! So I have eaten T-4, quickly and some other places pop corn chicken, this chicken is really the best and ever. They give out big chicken and also with less flower around. Also their milk drink, I believe is always at the D section and these drink are so good, definitely addictive to them.I always get pudding with milk and less ice, and always my favorite.

Purple Kow is similar to other trendy boba joints with snacks available. I guess this place has a permit for grease trap usage to make fried food or shared with Top Dog next door. The drill here is order at counter then take your order to go or eat in with additional seating upstairs. The thing you must know here is that they don't sell drink with tall slim cups. 24oz chubby cup is considered regular size with upgrade to next size for additional USD $1.05 not including toppings. Ice and sweetness level is done by default, but customized is available too. Tonight after dinner I got pistachio milk tea with golden boba and matcha pudding. One problem is not enough boba given and color is off from advertising picture. It's a little pricey being that it comes in a chubby cup. Looks can be deceiving especially tall and slim cup hold the same amount. You're better off order with no ice.

First I ordered a couple of drinks but the attendant kept messing my order. Finally, I politely told him “sweets, just get me one drink because I am on my lunch break and I don’t have time,” to which he responds “I don’t have time either.” After that, I was charged for extra toppings that I ordered for my drink, but turns out there is no toping in my drink at all. In addition, he did not even return my change. I quietly left the shop, so I won’t interrupt other customers. I called the store to talk to the manager, and the person who attended the phone announced, “this person wants to talk to the manager,” from the back a voice responded “Don’t have time, tell the person to call back in 20 minutes.” I waited for 25 minutes and called again. This time, the person announced again, “this person wants to talk to the manager.” In respond to the phone attendant’s announcement, a voice said “tell that person the manager is gone, tell them to call back tomorrow” I called to give the manager a polite review about the store, but seems like they didn’t care. They mess up my order very frequently, which is fine, but being rude to the customer is not.

The guy behind the counter tonight was so rude. I went in with my daughter who had to use the restroom. There was a large party in front of us ordering and I was going to wait for my daughter to get out of the bathroom before ordering- when I asked for the bathroom key I was told it was only for customers. I was in line planning to buy. By the time the people in front of us were done ordering my daughter had to use the restroom so bad she was dancing. The guy behind the counter made me wait until my order was processed and signed for before he even offered the keys. The tea was ok. Customer service sucks though

When I have a monster thirst for milk tea I have came to this place a couple of times. It looks like you get a lot for what you paid for, but I mean it's kind of the whole glass container and which one has more and then you find out they have the same volume. If you compare the price of Purple Kow to other boba places it hits around the same range in price.I purchased the hazelnut milk tea with light boba and I found out why I rarely go to this place, as well. The tea is watered down in some aspect so the flavor is very mellow and the boba doesn't compliment the tea at all. It's very chewy, more chewy than I'm comfortably chewing. Purple Kow does fulfill my milktea fix so if you're in downtown and desperately hankering for milktea and not willing to make a quarter mile walk to other tea places then Purple Kow it is!! Snacks were decent. Drinks were decent too. That would have warranted a 2-3-Star rating. Reason for 1-star was the TERRIBLE SERVICE. Ordered two HOT drink and both were served something lukewarm (if even that). Asked to heat both drinks to be HOT and overheard workers complaining in another language (they assumed we wouldn't understand). Extremely disappointed and won't be coming back.

Yuuuuum.Don't let a line fool you. They are fast and delicious. I love my D2...a milk tea with pudding and boba. Like most boba places they allow you to do different percentage of sweetner too.

Pros:- iced milk drink tastes like ice cream- pudding add-in is soft and tasty- option to change sweetness (half, 25%, etc)Cons:- milk tea tastes diluted- boba pearls are too small for my liking- extremely slow service- cramped space- over priced (every option costs! add boba, make hot, etc.)- chubby cups are the only ones availableBottom line: go to Asha or Sheng Kee instead

Purple Kow's okay. I understand the chubby cup fad, because I was taken with it too when I first tried Half and Half in SoCal. Honestly, you really shouldn't be drinking this much milk tea and boba in one serving. But if you're reading this review, you probably don't worry too much about that anyhow. I come here occasionally if everything else is closed. Remember, always ask for half sugar or less. Everything in this joint is ridiculously sweet. You can also split a drink with a friend if you go a size up. However they refuse to do smaller servings because apparently the recipes don't come in those serving sizes. Would it kill them to just divide the recipe in half? Oy.My favorite place will always be Sweetheart Cafe on Durant. The tapioca is always super fresh, never overcooked. And it's cheap to boot.
