A few months ago I ordered a burger from rain city for the 100th time I'm sure and I noticed that the beef patties were different. They were larger, shaped differently in a way that leads me to believe they are not formed at the restaurant, and above all else they were not even close to as good as they were before. I figured with the pandemic maybe they had to get a different patty so they don't run out. I ordered the chicken burgers after that. The chicken is very tasty and I would still recommend it. I just ordered another beef patty burger after 3 months and unfortunately they are still the different, less tasty patties. I'm very disappointed, the old parties were so so much better then what they have now. I'm giving 2 stars because their chicken burgers, fries, and tater tots are still excellent. I'm wondering if any other long time fans of Rain City noticed the beef patty change. I went from giving the burgers a 10 out of 10 to a 1 out of 10 so it's definitely different.

It's probably my fault for coming back, but this restaurant has made major mistakes on my order 3 out of 4 times. Most recently, I ordered delivery and they forgot one of the two burgers we ordered. When we called, they yelled at us that we only ordered one until we explained that both burgers were listed on the receipt. They did not offer to deliver it, so I had to drive to pick up the order I paid to have delivered. When I arrived, I waited about 20 minutes because they put the order at the end of the queue even though it was their mistake. I finally got my meal about 1 hour, 40 minutes after placing the order. I received nothing resembling an apology. On the other hand, this restaurant is great if you like ordering burgers but don't actually like eating them.

TLDR: FRESH BURGERS! Get a shake for fun. The best burger joint in Seattle!Typical fast food joint feel but with quality food. This place makes burgers from Red Robin cry.Menu is behind the register on the wall and is pretty straight forward.Service: order and pay and the register. If dining in, they will hand you a number and you seat yourself--food will be delivered to you. Ask for a water cup and water yourself. Napkin dispensers located on the walls.Hawaiian Burger: SO FRESH! The lettuce and pickles were so crunchy and crisp. The bun was nice and didn't squash when I held it. Loved the flavor balance of the pineapple, teriyaki sauce, and pepper jack cheese.Salmon Burger: not really a fan of the salmon and cheese combo. The bun was so light it was almost like a croissant. Salmon was not really what I was expecting and looked and tasted like chicken? The freshness of the veggies was at least refreshing though.Hand cut Fries: crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and has some skin. Yum! Careful though, one side is enough to share for two!Tater Tots: slightly over cooked and oily on the inside but crispy on the outside. Not much falcon on their own.Strawberry Milk Shake: MAN is this stuff thick! I had trouble drinking it out of a straw. Rich and creamy and tasty but hard to drink! Tastes a tad artificial.Mango Lassi: yogurt, milk, and mango. VERY sweet. Mango taste like champagne mangos. Not artificially flavored which is nice.

Atmosphere is okay. Burgers have the taste of being frozen and not very flavorful. Options are great, but overall I find their burgers to be just OK. Because they are a small location they typically are out of one beer or another which can be disappointing. If you want a burger it'd only option in the area. If you are just looking for food there are better options around.

Honestly I only went because this place becaue it's around the corner from where I'm staying.The burgers are amazing, the fries are the best. It's a busy little casual place, friendly staff but they're very busy so you put your order in and then grab a seat and wait for your food to come out! Perfect place to grab a bite if you're in the area! (Veggie burgers are also awesome!)

Rain City Burgers was so incrediblly delicious and well balanced, I do not mind the trip to other side of Seattle to get such good beef, pork, bacon, duck, chicken and the people are soooo helpful!Check out the outside grill for their amazing burgers etc. for lunch!

Good burgers. Kinda dirty but not exactly a hole in the wall. Would've given 4 stars, but apparently only the manager can pour beer. Meaning when that person is on break, you cant order any beer and apparently this person's breaks are 1 hour long... weird. Maybe think about getting more people a MAST permit?EDITWell I got my food in a bag at my table. I paused and must've given a look. The girl asked if I wanted it for here - I said yes. Her reply? "Oh Sorry" and then just walked off. Irritating but damn was i hungry so i tucked in. First bite... tasted a bit different then I expected. Open it up and all of the condiments/ ingredients I asked to have left off of the burger were all squarely between the buns. No big deal normally, but coupled with the apathy around operations in this restaurant I was staring over the precipice of where my patience ended. At this point I put my burger down and walked out. Won't be coming back and I'd advise you don't either.

I've eaten here a few times and every single time has been excellent. the selection is great the food is great the quality is awesome the only drawbacks I have is with the lack of parking (in Seattle, go figure) and its customers. come to think of it I think my real complaint is with the city of Seattle. Rain City would get a 5 stars from me, but I never want to deal with the obstacles to get the great food they offer.

Unfortunately the prices listed online must be super old as it was WAY more expensive when we went to pick up or called on to-go order. Also there is ZERO parking anywhere close by (ended up having one adult jump out at a red light and having the other one circle the block) the food was good but not great. Big portions but the ingredients had obviously been sitting out and were room temp. Fries were way soggy and even my fry addicted 4 year old would not eat them. Close to the park and cool atmosphere and staff but Over all pretty dissappointed.

Amazing burger for the price. When I've read that the prices on maps menu were wrong (and they are), I expected much worse, but the burgers are only 1$ more expensive.The staff was also great, polite and with a sincere smile on the face.
