After years of slowly putting on weight, I finally said "No More!" My Physician recommended Rainier Medical Weightloss last June (2019). I walked through the doors at University Place at the end July, scared, anxious, emotional and truth be told....broken. The immediate support I received was amazing. I committed that day, and have not looked back. I have learned that everyone's Weightloss journey is unique. My 30+ weightloss number is another's 100+...or 20+. The emotions are the same, the struggle the same.....and the feeling of success the same when that scale drops. Dr. Sutherland and her staff from the PA's, Nutritionists, Trainers and Office Personnel work closely to provide an overall package uniquely designed to each patient. Being under a Physicians care while in my Weightloss phase helped keep my spirits up during the times I struggled, and the online app and Handbook gave my guidance when I had questions. I have entered Maintenance and realize this next phase comes with new challenges and will require a lifetime of focus and diligence. However with the amazing support from Rainier Medical Weightloss my husband, daughter, friends and co-workers, I am excited to face this New Year (2020)....healthier, happier and stronger! If you are considering a "New Direction"....start now. Pick up the phone, open that door and walk through. You are more of a Warrior that you think.
