had a great time and very informative tour with Morgan. We were in Newport for weekend with friends and the 8 of us took the tour. so glad we did! We ended up getting reservations at Perro Salado and ha a wonderful meal with pitchers of Margaritas. Morgan obviously knew the foods and restaurants and was able to point out cool features on the local history and structures.

My wife and I very much consider ourselves "foodies" so when we moved to Rhode Island this past Summer we knew we had our work cut out for us finding the best food around. Luckily for us we found Rhode Island Red Food Tours. Paula was an amazing guide, not just for the food but for the history and culture of Newport and Rhode Island as a whole. She brought us to a wide variety of unique off-the-beaten-path type of restaurants, each one better than the last. They provided us with very generous portions of their best food and we left there feeling very full. I would recommend this tour to both locals and tourists alike, we were a mix of both and we absolutely loved it. We can't wait to sit down at ALL of these places again for a full meal, they were ALL that good! In fact we already took her advice and revisited a local bar she pointed out, and what a great choice that was!

12 other friends and I were visiting Newport and this was a surprise tour. It was given to us from the couple hosting us on this vacation. We are all "foodies" and enjoyed this very much! Not only did we get to try the different foods, but we learned many historical facts about Newport. We visited two of the eateries from the tour and one of the sister eateries to a place we toured. When visiting Newport, this is a MUST! LOVED IT!
