Bait and switch, awesome deals online yet rarely reflected by the product in-store.Edit: For clarity this was not a complaint so much as a warning, spend your money elsewhere.

Came in today and picked up a half gram cartridge, happily. I called 6 different places and everywhere was charging 23$+ on 'em, for a half gram... lol much appreciated to find the 15$ ones somewhere close to where I was. Weird to scan ID's at the front and also ask for it at the point of purchase, but hey, better safe than sorry I guess.

Not pleased. Went last evening, I have spent $$$$ there in the last 4 weeks, come in to buy RSO, medicinally, told “Sorry, no reasonably priced til NEXT WEEK” not a care for their customer, not a care for a horrific lack of inventory planning, unless ONLY offering HIGH END IS the plan??” And PERFECTLY happy to let me go next door to Ikes?? Well ok then. That’s where I will go. Thank you for letting me know what you truly think of your customers.

I had gone here for awhile rather than Ike's across the street, but I bought a hash oil cartridge here that didn't work and tried to return it and they wouldn't change it out for me. We went outside and they tried the cartridge on my vape pen and one they had too, where it had issues in both, then he fiddled around a bit and got it to hit once from theirs and he told me because of that he couldn't return it, even though we had demonstrated that it was faulty. This was the manager too, who could have made a smart decision to swap it out, and I would have continued to spend money here. Instead I go across the street to Uncle Ike's now, where they actually have a better selection, better prices, and better staff, so in a way I'm glad they screwed me over :)

They're my go-to shop but have some short comings so I can't give them 5 stars. They've usually got great selection, friendly & informed bud tenders and more pesticide free flower & concentrate than most other shops. However it's frustrating that their online menu isn't consistently updated and online ordering isn't trustworthy. I call in to check on availability because you cannot trust the website to accurately reflect the stock. It's unfortunate, as so many other shops seem to have a handle on this. I've also made a pre-order, gotten a text saying it was ready, gone to the shop only to tell me they not only didn't have my order ready but the oil I was trying to pick up was SOLD OUT!! How can that even be a thing? Again though the quality of product and service has been worth it so I still frequent Ruckus. Just can't rely on any of the online functionality as with other shops.

Used to come in here a lot, been a customer since they were on the left side, with the smaller shop. They’ve always had eco weed and I think the owner is on the board of “clean green smoke/no harmful pesticides in our Washington grown marijuana”. All of the weed at this shop is smokable, not harsh, it’s pretty good actually. Prices are decent, they often have good deals. And my FAVORITE is that they’re (were) discrete. They used to be this little private-hole-in-the-wall pot shop that most people didn’t even know existed next to Ike’s. Now they are not private or discrete, now RUKUS scans your ID at the door. YOU CAN NEVER BE SURE WHAT THEY DO WITH YOUR information. This used to be a sweet place to get your bud, nowadays they force an ID scan just to get inside. BUYER BEWARE (WHO KNOWS WHAT THEY DO WITH YOUR INFORMATION). Those devices can automatically upload your ID info onto a cloud, your info could always fall into the wrong hands. A simple direct look at an ID, under quality lighting, can verify a person’s birthday. Anyone that doesn’t look of age could pass a quick test/answer a few questions about their ID, or those few citizen could have their ID’s scanned, but not the rest of us and not continuously. Why the need to keep track? What kind of privacy policies and ethics does RUKUS have in place?

Always a pleasant experience for a sober guy. Fair prices and quality products. I'm a regular and happy customer. I am a cannabis photographer and love all the brands and products available. Unfortunately there is no THC free CBD here. When I shop for friends I am always surprised at how they always have a selection of what I'm looking for instead of just one brand.

I used to come in 2-3 times a week to stock up as this was my favorite weed place on the Hill- good service, good weed, good prices. However, they have a new policy not to let in anyone with a vertical license anymore. I moved from CA and refuse to switch to a WA ID because you can’t travel with them (lack of security issues), so even though I’m 23 my license is vertical, and that has never been a problem at any if the pot shops in Seattle- I’ve been to plenty in the 2 years I’ve lived here. I was turned away so now I’ll just go across the street to Uncle Ike’s- I’m not going to deal with the DMV and pay $80+ to get an enhanced ID just to shop here. Super bummed, definitely lost a loyal customer.

I've had good experiences here except for the guy that looks like tool time Al who really seems to hate being there, but since you don't get to decide who helps you I just have to give the whole store one star. Ponder on 23rd and Union has competitive prices and West Seattle Marijuana Store down east of White Center has better prices and staff.

21 YEAR OLDS BEWARE. This place is ridiculous. They don’t accept “vertical IDs”. I told the guy I was 21 and he didn’t even take a look at my ID. I asked him if it was a Washington State Law and his response to me was “it’s on the door and most clubs do it” so no, it’s not. I’ve never had a problem at a club in Seattle. You can’t fake an enhanced ID. You’re losing customers over a dumb preference. How you gonna dent entry to someone who’s 21? Every other weed shop in Seattle will get my business except this place. Turning 22 this month. Ridiculous I’d be refused service without a look at my ID. I don’t care about the response from the owner, y’all suck.
