Overall Feedback:

As usual, the staff was very helpful, knowledgable, and proof that people who smoke weed can be productive members of society due to the relief they experience. Workers Comp had 19 people being compensated for their purchases in the most recent public yearly report. The average cost reported by the various insurance companies, per patient, was $2,500.00 per year. I'm finding my costs to be higher than that. They will pay the patient/injured worker up to $12.02 per unit, or gram. In edibles, the rate is $12.02 per 200mg. The intent of the law is for injured workers to get free pain medication. Not reduced price, or having to pay out of pocket. Many of the products that are recommended as revolutionary modalities of ingestion are not recognized by the WC admin, so the insurance companies or self insured entities responsible won't pay for them. The cost of brownies, for instance, is much higher than the allowable compensation rate. The dabbing concentrates are not covered. It's just flower type dry weed and edibles so far, that I am aware of. If there is anything Sacred can do to make Workers Comp patients' products fully covered under the current rules, and ask for the dabbing products to be included in the reimbursable list at workers comp in the future, there are at least 19 injured workers out here who would be thankful.
