Found out today that they let the employees shop items that haven't even hit the sales floor yet. Kinda takes the fun out of treasure hunting there everyday knowing all the good stuffs been picked through. I know other thrift stores in the area have a very strict policy about this and don't see why salvation army sees no harm in it. One of their volunteers is a prominent eBay reseller just making money off them left and right selling merch that regular customers never even have a chance to see. Pretty shady. Definitely going to give this store some time off which is sad bc I've been going there daily for almost 4 years.

Not from here wallet got stolen and im stranded here. Ive always donated to salvation army and other charity and now that I need help oh I dont fall in any category to receive assistance everyone. i call refers me to another. And non seem to help. This is just a rough time right now but I will not ever be donating to these places again. They seam carrying when they are asking for donations but they are cold when they are asked for assistance.

Salvation Army Rehab took in one of my relatives several times helping him break his drug and alcohol addiction. So beautiful seeing people help others that literally have nothing. God Bless You Salvation Army. Anything donated to them literally changes lives. The city should even donate money to their rehab program as it will prevent some people from going to jail and save the city money.

I wasn't even going to the salvation army on W. Owens , one of their Employees ( LATISHIA) she wouldn't give me her last name, she was standing on the ramp blocking the way up , like the IGNORANT others, she ask me where I was going ,IS that her job , or is it to keep the ramp clear of people like herself blocking me on a adult scooter, I said the clinic, She grinded and smirked to another ignorant person blocking the ramp way, "they're going to the Clinic hahahaha you know what's up with that , with a wink. I felt totally disrespected and will make a full discrimination report.
