Update: upon my last visit, the staff was super cool and went out of their way to ensure my order was top notch. These people are super friendly and they have good product. I must have gotten unlucky my first couple of flower purchases and caught them at the end of the stash. As a regular customer at all of the local places in Pagosa, I have to say this place is hit or miss. It is usually always a hit for concentrates but has been a miss for me everytime I get flower. It doesn’t matter the strain or amount I buy it is always nothing but dry crumbs and tiny buds that are mostly stem. Out of a quarter you will probably end up with at least a gram of tiny stems. The dabs are always fire and the people that work there are cool and friendly it just sucks to get home and pour out a quarter of dry shake everytime I get flower.

Nice dispensary, with seemingly good product, but the customer service was absolutely TERRIBLE! Both of the girls working there were extremely rude, and unhelpful. I won’t be returning, and will let my family and friends know that they shouldn’t go here either. I expected a much better atmosphere, but unfortunately did not find it here. I ended up going to the dispensary right next to them, and had a much better experience.

Only place in town who even bothers labeling sativa or indica at its highest price point, in live resin form. Only place you will never find half your sauce in the cap before you even touch it, seems like an every other gram loss with other disp. They handle with care and it’s just a higher end disp than others available in the area, with Durango included as closest options.

Quality was great, selection was fantastic. Costs were par for the course, if not lower than most places. I'd suggest it 100%.As some other reviews have said it is a little dry, however every shop I went to in Pagosa was like that so I can't hold it against them.I'd recommend the Purple Bio Diesel and the Alien Blue. Both hybrids, and both some of the best I've smoked in a long time.

Was a huge fan of this dispensary but every time I go recently they keep trying to take advantage me and my group. Charging us $30 more then the customers right before us and when we asked about that same deal they lied to us like we were dumb. Its all love when it comes to bud and snowboarding but id recommend taking your money elsewhere if your new to bud or want better deals

Selection: varied, and organized by type.Knowledge: the bud tender had specific product knowledge and overall information about THC and CBD. She was also friendly.Insider tip: at point of purchase, if you say, “I wanna get pie”, the bud tender will bring you a complimentary slice of edible pie, with a CBD/THC ratio of 1:1. If they have it, ask for cherry.

This was my first time visiting San Juan Strains and let me just say 1. A freaking cute dog greeted me when I walked in. (Ummm score) 2. The girl was super friendly and chill that helped me and not over bearing which I was afraid of because I hate that. 3. Overall I'm super happy with my purchases and i got in and out with no problems and a smile on my face. :) I highly recommend this place!

Stopped by store one morning while on vacation. Later that day, 200 miles away, i realized my credit card had fallen out of my wallet. Called San Juan Strains and talked to Kelsey. She said my card had been found and offered to mail it home for me. She packaged the card very securely, and a potentially bad situation turn out well. Good people equal a good store.thank you

Now this is how it's done!San juan strains should be a model for other dispensaries already in town or other dispensaries thinking about opening. The atmosphere is welcoming, the staff are very polite, knowledgeable of their products and don't make you feel like your wasting their time. The medications I've tried so far have been exactly what i needed, on point in weight and quality, looking forward to shopping here for all recreational needs. The prices... the prices are better then the other shops in town and they don't make the customer eat the tax, its included in the price. Locals get a 10% discount, which is really nice because not many places in this small town show the locals the love were deserve! Daily deals, great products, friendly staff, great location. Glad i found this place and you can bet ill be back.... time and time again!Thanks San juan strains!!
