If you can't keep ripe avocados in stock don't bother offering avocado toast on the menu. I ordered two orders of avocado toast and the avocado on both was completely black and rotten all the way through, to the point where I wouldn't feed it to an animal.Reply Response: It's beyond offensive you are questioning my understanding of what constitutes an acceptably ripe green avocado and a completely rotten black fruit. I have no issue differentiating between an ripe avocado that has been slightly oxidized and a black rotten avocado that is black and rotten on the inside of the avocado itself. From your response I can understand why there is rotten avocado being sold, if you are going to reply, learn how to properly interact with your guests, the internet and further resolve a bad experience at your establishment. Good luck 👍

I’m in love! I’ve been following the Autoimmune protocol diet, which is EXTREMELY restrictive (no gluten, dairy, nuts, legumes, soy, nightshade veggies, I could go on!) It’s been difficult at times because it’s eliminates most food options outside of my kitchen. Although Green Table didn’t have anything I could eat on the menu, Emma sat with me and discussed all my options until they came up with something yummy and delicious for me! I am so grateful. Seriously, I want to convince them to make it a permanent menu item! It was delicious and very clean! Some other restaurants do their best, some have completely dismissed me without concern, but green table really took the time and care for me. It means more than they could know! I’ve been following this diet for 5 weeks with 8 more to go! Green table made me feel a lot better about that. I’ll be coming back for their salads, smoothies, and juices!

I'll add a star ONLY because the employees are super nice. Food was very bland, like really bland. Just had pepper dumped on it. It honestly seems like the owner is just trying to capitalize off of the rise in people trying to eat healthier/vegan and they seems very passive aggressive in their responses to other reviews. Also... Don't put a sign that says "Guilt free cuisine" outside your restaurant if you still serve dairy.

This place is perplexing. Almost everything was "sold out" at 11am. It took a few tries to find something vegan that I could order. Kale salad was nice but veggie burger was soggy. No beverage options other than matcha.I saw the produce delivery go down while I was here and much of it was not organic. Also the same 10 songs were played on repeat. Very expensive for what you get - $25 for two drinks and a salad.

I came here searching for an opportunity to have a vegan brunch in Santa Barbara. Unfortunately, LA traffic held me up and I didn’t get there until after the brunch hour, and they were eager to warn me that they close in an hour—even though I had an hour left to order and eat and they weren’t at all packed. Anyway, the menu looked wonderful, but the food was surprisingly bland despite a beautiful presentation. The pulled mushroom sandwich had a subtle barbecue flavor, but it tasted as if it hadn’t been marinated and the oyster mushrooms were not tender. The fudge brownie basically tasted like cacao paste with slight sweetener in it. Actually, my favorite dish was the side salad that had shredded beats on top. It was quite flavorful and the blend of the tart shredded beets complement of the balsamic vinegar dressing very well.

I found the Green Table restaurant doing a online search of organic places in Santa Barbara. At the restaurant I noticed nothing on the menu indicates it’s organic. I asked the order person and she told me they are not 100% organic, but some of their menu items have a few organic ingredients. In other words you can plan on eating their food with pesticides and paying higher prices for organic. I ordered the planet burger and what a mistake! It looked and tasted like a prefab processed veggie burger from McDonald’s and it’s served ice cold. I took two bites and trashed the rest. Might as well stick to fresh organic food from a source you can trust. I do not like writing negative reviews, but hopefully the owner of this restaurant gets the message.

Waited 30 mins for my food when the people right before us got their food within five minutes of ordering. When we did get the food it was so incredibly tasteless and the portions were small. I couldn't take many bites before asking for a refund and promptly leaving. Don't go here. I'm a vegetarian and have had the chance to eat at many wonderful veggie establishments. This is not one of them.

It was nice to find all gluten free spot for lunch! Small menu, but everything seemed delicious. Worth trying one of the smoothies — they cost same as a meal because they are like a meal — I was almost full just from that. In comparison portion sizes are fairly small, so if you are hungry take two dishes 🙂 overall great option for quick lunch.

Completely gluten-free organic and vegetarian deli and matcha bar. They also have juices, smoothies, cookies and muffins (they call some of them cupcakes, but they are muffins). Almost everything I've had here has been amazing. I've had the wrap, the cauliflower crust pizza, the veggie burger, the lasagna and the veggie parm, as well as all of the "cupcakes." The only thing I didn’t like was the stuffed bell pepper.

Feedback:

While visiting Santa Barbara we were thrilled to find this local restaurant. All of their dishes are gluten free and the majority of them are also vegan. The menu features a variety of comfort foods and some specialty plates as well. They also serve organic smoothies, juices, and matcha. And for dessert, the Green Table has a wide array of sweets to satisfy your cravings. The staff was very friendly and honest and made our visit wonderful. This is a terrific place to eat a vegan meal in Santa Barbara! #vegan #organic #glutenfree #santabarbara
