⚠️💸Touristy, small selection for the size of the space. I’m not likely to go here much even though I’m local because of the prices- it would be nice to see things that are more reasonably priced for us decent working folks in the area I will gladly skip you to go to a cheaper store. I think the volume would make up in profits for using a different price model- come on guys. Wish the store was more like Americana RX if you guys wanna know where I think that you should go that’s the place and worth emulating for SOTM.

Every time I’ve visited Smoke on the Mountain, the staff has been exceptionally helpful, professional & friendly in finding the best products (within there their stock) for me. In particular, I’m interested proportionally higher CBD. I’d give 5 stars if they had as broad of a range of topicals & 50-50 products as the Eugene-Springfield dispensaries.

I came 10 minutes late here and the female there was nice and said that it was closed which I respect because it was owners rules however, while talking to her and man came up out of nowhere and demanded I leave and pointed. His attitude and demeanor was the worst I've seen before. He was rude and made me not want to ever go here again. I wouldn't ever go to this store and recommend you go to the one 3 miles down to the one in rhododendron where the service is great and the quality is amazing. I've never had to leave a bad review before but there is a 1st for anything.

Giving a 3, simply have not stepped foot inside the doors here. A little hesitant to be honest. Tend to go to dispensaries all over the Portland, Gresham, Milwaukie, areas and have to say.. When going into various Gresham shops and to hear "VENDORS" have nothing good to say about this place and the ownership.. That leaves for some Worry when you hear vendors complaining. (The people that supply to the shops).. Having been in the medical community for 14 yrs and over all in the industry for about 16-17 yrs now.. It's not a good sign when Vendors themselves don't have a lot of positive to say about the place and the owner. Still willing to check the place out to decide for myself.. Not the type to allow others or my wallet to decide for me.. Hopefully can change them stars to a 5 and not a 1.

I bought the new small Pax vaporizer at another shop. I came into Smoke On The Mountain to buy a couple cartridges for it because I was coming back from skiing and it was convenient. I walked in and specifically requested a Pax cartridge. The girl behind the counter pulled out 3 choices and I picked two. Turned out later upon review that she ended up selling me cartridges for some other vape pen that's not even remotely like the Pax. I am over 2 hours away and can't just drop by to return them. I think that she knew exactly what she was doing, and I'm not happy at all.

I typically only leave a review if I have an overwhelmingly positive experience, so the fact that I am leaving a negative review really speaks to the level of negativity I experienced at this shop. I spent quite a bit of the summer at the resort down the street so I frequented this dispensary A LOT over the past few months. The gal that usually tended to me was the typical dispensary clerk, new age-y, friendly and holistic hippy type, but one day I witnessed an interaction that really irked me. There were two gentlemen that came into the shop together right after me, both middle aged and both clearly blue collar and they were looking around at the different varieties as the bud tender was finishing our transaction. The only imediate difference between the two guys was that one was a clean cut white guy and one was black with rad waist length dread locks. Anyway the gal cut herself off from our conversation together mid sentance to demand to see the IDs of the gentleman that had entered which seemed weird seeing as they were both very clearly old enough to be allowed to be in there. It was obvious to me, after overhearing the men talking that the one with dread locks was more knowledgeable and the white guy might have been new to medicinal marijuana or may have just been his ride. Anyway long story short the black guy was made to wait outside because he didn't have ID and his clueless white companion was left to make the purchase because he had an ID and the other guy didn't. I get that it's the law, but they were only trying to buy an eighth and the white guybwas paying so why couldn't they both be in the store looking around considering they were both at least 50. It just seemed asinine and downright spiteful of the bud tender. I don't want to make assumptions and cry racist, but I had been in the store a dozen times before and never seen that clerk appear to be looking for a reason not to serve someone until that day. I didn't go back to this dispensary for months and choose to go very far out of my way to avoid seeing that budtender again, however I forgot about that experience that had irked me so much so I stopped back in as I was passing through just now and after we had completed our transaction and the male clerk was passing me my change and my singular pre-rolled joint he says to me "and here is your schedule one narcotics". It was weird. Maybe I am just jaded from my past experiences and over thinking it, but I would rather not be made to feel ashamed when making a purchase. Seems kind of a counter intuitive thing to say, especially seeing as some people get notoriously paranoid when smoking marijuana I can imagine that comment could really freak somebody else out. I probably won't be coming back to this particular shop. :(

My experiences with marijuana in the past have been mostly bad. Some of it made me paranoid and like there was someone else inside my head besides me. So, because I live very close to this store I decided to drop in and talk about that. I was met in the outer part of the store and asked to show some ID by one of the staff, and this was done very nicely too. I realize this store is under the regulations of the OLCC. The folks in the store have to follow these in order to sell and dispense the product. After I was admitted to the back area, I chatted with a nice lady and told her of my past experience with marijuana. She told me she thought the problem was with the strain I had smoked. She said that she thought that I should try the Indica and not the Sativa strain? So I recently tried some Critical Cure and it was exactly what I was hoping for! No little men inside my head! LOL! Just me. I can't wait to go back in and thank her for the help she was so nice and patience with me. I've been in this store four times now and always been treated nicely, fairly and with respect.Would I recommend this store and its products? Yes, I already told several of my friends about it. Because the quality of the product and the way it was rolled and packaged and the great and friendly staff there and finally the location means I will give them all my business in this part of my life. Try them, I'm sure you'll enjoy them and your visit as much as I have.

Sometimes they are not so smart. They should keep up with the law and what is allowed to be sold ... Medical versus recreational. It's insulting to me. They tell me what you cannot do and it's completely WRONG at times. If you don't know say so, don't guess and kiss me off as well as worsening on the hell do I spend $1000 elsewhere. They are nice and try, but sme working for them needs to be trained. It's absolutely stupid retarded that from ignorance can't keep my money here in the community. Did I say stupid. No it's funking stupid.
