We hired Qualicare North San Diego to care for our father who lived alone and was declining. Steve and his staff were all wonderful. They kept in constant daily communication, prompt, flexible and attentive to our sometimes constant changing needs. I must also note they were very patient and understanding with our father who at times could be difficult and challenging. They gave their educational opinions and help during a time we needed them most. You will be in good hands with Qualicare North San Diego!

We all felt comfortable and grateful that there is a safe and caring option for extra help for the safety of my loved ones. Everyone was very professional and ready at be there when we needed them. Qualicare did a fabulous job helping my 89 year old father recover from a broken hip. From the owner Steve down to the care coordinators Bridgett and Amanda and the caregivers themselves, the whole team showed compassion, responsiveness, and understanding. They mobilized quickly to set up my father with two excellent caregivers to come into his home to help with a wide range of daily activities. They helped him through a stressful transition from the skilled nursing unit to home, and supported him throughout his recovery.

After calling and talking with several different in-home care agencies, we chose Qualicare North County San Diego to provide assistance for our mother. The team set up a binder that we kept in my mom's home where they would jot down pertinent information about what kind of care mom needed on each day, what she ate/drank, assistance to the bathroom etc...they would take her on errands from time-to-time. Each caregiver I had the pleasure of meeting was punctual and professional and attentive to mom. I felt like she was in good hands when she was in their care. Steve and Krystal were very responsive when we had specific instructions or ideas about mom's care, they communicated with us promptly and in a professional manner. It can feel hard to find people to care for those we love, I remember feeling especially vulnerable and protective as I interviewed people we were considering and Qualicare did not disappoint. I would seek their services again if the need arose.

When literally out of nowhere, our 92 year old father, who had been living alone and was self-sufficent, began hallucinating and also experiencing wandering at night, we had to get nighttime care - immediately. After researching many companies, talking to his doctors and also to friends who had gone through a similar situation, we selected Qualicare North County San Diego. We met with Linda, their on-staff nurse who came to his house to talk to us about his needs and what they could provide. It was comforting to know that they have a nurse on staff. She matched us with three caregivers who would rotate nights and who were well matched with our father's personality. They were all very caring and competent and arrived on time - actually early every night. Each shift, the caregiver writes up what went on so that we could see exactly how things were progressing. Over time, we had to transition to more care and Qualicare was able to fill in on additional time slots as needed. They were always available to answer questions and when a caregiver was ill, they were quick to find a suitable replacement. It is a very scary situation to face when your aging parents need help - having literally strangers staying at the house, but the caregivers through Qualicare quickly became like family. Fortunately, we are now at a point where a family member is going to be living with our father so we will only be needing Qualicare to provide fill-in services but we most definitely will be using them when the need arises. I highly recommend Qualicare and Steve Kidwell, the owner and president, and his staff to anyone needing professional and quality healthcare for a loved one.

I highly recommend Qualicare to anyone looking for care for their loved one. I had the pleasure of working with them for four months while my mom was staying with me. She is at risk for falling, and needed constant supervision. Qualicare sent out the perfect caregiver for my mom who was compassionate, engaging, thoughtful, and truly had my mom's best interests at all times. It was also comforting knowing we had Nurse Linda for any medical concerns, as we did need to call upon her more than once. Steve, the owner, is very professional and a pleasure to work with. He and his staff made sure we were well taken care of. I was so happy I found them!!

I used to work with Qualicare as a caregiver. I like my management team. My boss Steve, Linda, Krystal and his staffs are very kind and understanding. They are always there to help me and give me some advice when I have some questions or some problems. They are very care about their clients and their employees. I like my client and my company but I have to stop working for them because I have to go to school full time for nursing. I have learned a lot from them. For the most part, I like to work with Qualicare because I can choose the time that fit with my schedule because I have kids and it's difficult for me to work full time. It's a good experience to work with Steve and his team. I highly recommend to work with him. Also, If you want to find a good quality caregiver agency, Qualicare is a good place for you. You can trust Steve and his team. You are in good hands.

I highly recommend Qualicare North County. After making the decision to bring in-home care for my mom, my sister and I interviewed several homecare agencies. We knew Qualicare was the perfect answer for our family when we met with Steve Kidwell, Pres/Owner and Linda, the RN on staff. They took their time to explain their program and answer ALL of our questions. We knew then this would be the best fit for my mom and our family. Our caregiver, Ana was a GodSend! She and my mother got along from the very start. They had their routine each morning and afternoon, whether it was making breakfast together or Ana helping my mom with her gardening to watching their "favorite" shows on TV. Ana made sure my mom was comfortable and most importantly safe. In the end Ana is like family! We had been with Qualicare for a year and a half when my mom passed in September. Qualicare never disappointed us when it came to scheduling or making schedule changes. They have always bent over backwards to make sure any schedule changes were taken care of quickly and when it came time when we needed a 2nd caregiver (Paulette) on the last day before my mom passed, Qualicare was there making sure we had Paulette there to help and assist our family. Our family will be forever grateful to Steve, Linda, Paulette and especially Ana! You will not regret going with Qualicare North County!

These guys are top notch and we highly recommend them. We hired another firm to care for my mom and after a week of waiting and numerous excuses they never sent a caregiver. We reached out to Qualicare and Steve, the owner, called me personally and had a nurse there the next day and great caregivers scheduled a day or two later. It’s been 6 weeks and it’s working out great. Thanks Steve and team!
