Feedback:
They stand behind their products and work. Had an issue with the turf which was a mfgr problem. They worked with mfgr to get it replaced under warranty & SoCal Synthetic Lawn did the install again! Then, 1 year later the summer heat caused some wrinkles in the turf and SoCal Synthetic Lawn came out again to put more sand in it and power brush the entire lawn. And everyone from SoCal Synthetic Lawn have been very kind and professional. From the crew on up to CJ. They were all willing to answer my questions.

We met CJ the owner of SoCal at the Del Mar Home and Garden Show this spring and we were immediately drawn to The Turf Edge product of synthetic lawn. We did not want the "putting green" effect that often comes with large expanses of turf. He came to our home in Alpine and we discussed our wish list for our front yard. He gave us a quote that included not just the turf but retaining walls and a great design for an island. We were very pleased with the price and basically called him the next day...we were confident he was our contractor. We were very impressed with Josh and the crew. Josh gave us some additional design ideas especially in the area of palm trees and plants. The crew was friendly and efficient and cleaned up the area when they left in the afternoons. We are very pleased with the results and would recommend SoCal to anyone expecting quality work on time and with little stress!

Our project was significant, involving 2 weeks of work in our backyard leveling ground, removing debris, moving and increasing the size and strength of a retaining wall, and installing a new synthetic lawn. CJ and his team did a fantastic job, communicating clearly the whole time, being respectful of our home, and building an absolutely beautiful playing field my family will enjoy for many years. Easy to recommend for any synthetic lawn work.

SoCal just finished installing turf on my front lawn and also removing and installing a new walkway made of pavers. You have to see this turf - it is far superior to the normal turf you see out there and the way they install it (including the edge) makes it look incredible. The walkway is also great. Thank you to CJ and Josh - the process was clear and seamless and we love our front yard. I wish all companies operated this way. Highly recommend.

Great all around experience with SoCal Synthetic. CJ and Summer were very helpful with the initial estimate and contract. The two day job started as promised and finished as promised without any issues at all. The work crew were very experienced and from start to finish very professional in all their work. They left the job site clean and the job exceeded my expectations. I chose this company based on recommendations of two friends who were happy with SoCal's work, and hope anyone reading this, would consider SoCal Synthetic Lawns & Putting Greens for their job.

I am very happy with the installation and customer service performed by SoCal Synthetic Lawns & Putting Greens. CJ and his team where great to work with. His price was very reasonable for the work performed and well inline and better than most quotes I received. The quality of the turf he provided was also better than the other 3 companies I shopped around with. It looks amazing and feels even better, very soft and easy to lay and play on. His team also installed this thing called The Turf Edge which raises the edge of the lawn up slightly. Rather than terminating at the edge of the concrete, it puffs up a bit a looks really good, makes it look a bit more realistic. I'm very happy with it. He was very quick to respond to my questions (the million of them I had) and he gave a very detailed outline of the work to be completed and how his company does business. He and his crew where always on time and finished the project on time (actually just a tad a bit of schedule). There was some things that needed to be finished up after the work was completed and his team took care of all those items before final payment was approved. I highly recommend giving them a call and I would definitely hire again for future artificial turf projects.

I have nothing but good things to say. The staff were professional and timely in their responses, they were patient, and they were pleasant. The quality of the product is superior and we are BEYOND happy. The turf was our final touch and it made our backyard look like an oasis. I honestly have nothing but positive feedback. I appreciated meeting with and communicating with the owner. The staff completing the project were pleasant and so receptive to questions and concerns. You can't go wrong with SoCal! Thank you!!

What a fantastic experience all around! Before calling CJ for an estimate, I did my homework on the company and brushed up on what I needed to know about synthetic putting greens. I learned about all the possible pitfalls from poor installation to issues with melting; however, CJ’s website and the testimonials from past clients reflected a company that prides itself on quality and professionalism combined with responsible installation. When CJ arrived for an estimate, I was immediately impressed with his vast knowledge of the complexities of synthetic lawns…especially putting greens. He focused on details such as the lay of the grass for both chipping and putting, the optimum cup placement to maximize the space we had, and creating the best topography for the desired break on each individual hole. He also provided many hardscape options for the patio and small planter we wanted to install. He noted the windows closest to the greens and was concerned about possible melting due to window reflection. Fortunately, he has experience in working with several solutions, and the best solution was also the easiest and least expensive—installing full screens on all the windows in question (Torpin Screen Company). Expecting a hefty estimate based on this level of expertise and attention to detail, we were surprised with his fair and competitive quote.We continued to be impressed as the work began. CJ’s employees were professional, respectful, knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. We were especially impressed with how clean and organized they left the area at the end of each work day. They obviously took pride in their work and often went above and beyond what they were expected to do. Several times, CJ himself came to check in on the project to ensure that our needs were being met. Most impressively, the work was completed in fewer days than estimated. The end product? Absolutely stunning! I feel like I’m at a vacation resort every time I step into my back yard. The pavers are lovely, the garden wall is perfect, and the putting green runs the entire length of our yard (happy hubby!). We are so pleased with the process and the final product that we’re hoping to have him do the front yard next summer.

We cannot say enough good things about this company. They were incredibly efficient, respectful and friendly. Their quote was very fair and they were helpful in educating us on all of the options and price points for our backyard project. During the project demo and install all of the employees were friendly and respectful to our neighbors. We would 100% recommend them all-day!

When my wife and I decided to take up the project of replacing our backyard pavers with turf, I got about 8 contractors to come and give a bid to me. I evaluated them on many criteria including: Knowledge of the material, business, installation process, quality of turf, licensing or certified with ASGI, proper insurance cover, customer service, reasonable pricing, good reviews and references, tailoring the project to meet my expectations etc. I rated them all and selected top three for further discussion. CJ from Socal understood my concerns about balancing longevity and softness of turf and proposed a Coronado 100 oz turf with 15 years warranty and also offered ideas for boundary and shape. I was impressed with the service and knowledge and of course the turf quality. As far as the installation process, the crew led by Josh were very professional, arrived every morning exact 7 45 AM, started the work, kept me in constant loop of the ongoing activities and cleaned up everyday after work. The 450 sq ft area project was completed in 3 days straight. The brick boundary and the seams are flawless as one can see in attached pictures. All the guests who have visited us since them were awed by the turf. I would highly recommend SoCal team for your turf projects.
