I'm going to be honest, I may be exaggerating but this ER is not clean as it shoud. There were dry blood stains on several seats! Yes, is the ER and there is supposed to be injured or sick people. However, there were no hand sanitizer dispensers anywhere. There is no wipes to clean the seats. I mean how are we (not) supposed to catch anything when we come and sit and touch things that have been contaminated from sick people. An injured person came in bleeding leaving the blood stains on the floor and nobody came to clean it for several hours. If someone steps on the blood and carries it under the sole?! Think about it, you get in your car, walk into your house! Now a days we should not underestimate the risk when we have children, elderly people or even ourselves. I'm sorry for the bad review bad it is a hospital.😅😓

Had to visit the Medical Center as a matter of emergency on 1/6/20. This was the single worst, most unprofessional experience I have had anywhere. Staff is apathetic to providing care and operate without any sense of urgency. There is a cultural problem with this facility as everyone treats the patients very poorly. Avoid at all costs...

This place is not worth for Emergency situations. We were moving to a new apartment, my kid accidentally poked my wife’s eye with a paint brush. I rushed her to this hospital, filled out all the paperwork and waited almost for an hour. There was no first-aid done by the nurse or medical assistant. The staffs were horrible who were trying to tell me, this kind of service will be everywhere (I have been in emergency situations and I never experienced bad emergency service).I asked if they would bill my insurance as emergency instead or urgency, they said yes. Finally we went to a different hospital and finally took care of her bleeding immediately. Please avoid this hospital at any cost. Staffs are really bad who have no humanity in them.

Walked in with a bad broken wrist and uninsured. The receptionists did above and beyond for me, since i couldn't even write. I got emergency Medi-Cal and was able to get treated.The nurses were very nice and I want to thank them immensely for the care I received.Thank you for mitigating my pain, still have a longways to recovery.

This hospital is financially challenged, but the doctors are amazingly caring and will take care of their patients very well. I walked in with a family member and there was vomit on the floor that wasn't taken care of until 10 mins later, and when it was getting cleaned, it was getting cleaned up with towels and a swifter. The staffs customer service could get a little better, it not bad, but needs a little more work.

I came here to visit a friend and there was a young security guy with glasses on he help me find the room and showed me on the map and also said enjoy your visit. He smiled and that made me happy to go visit my friend the greatest moment of the hospital and he says good bye or have a great day. That security guard made my day thank you so much.

`I had kidney removed at So Coast. and had the most horrible experience ever. The Nurses were callous and rude, specially night Nurses. I had to return to hospital due to bowel obstruction and the x-ray tech left me laying in a cold hard table for over an hour without checking in on me or offering me a blanket. I was in utter disbelieve at my treatment. I am a very nice person. I worked in hospitals all my life and would never treat a patient as i was treated. i ended up with a bad infection and went to Garden Grove hospital instead .... what a difference! I was hospitalized there and the staff was compassionate and pros all the way.
