I rented a space there recently two of them even though the spaces are adequately what I needed I was asked by the Operators of the facility to put a review in. I denied them in the beginning cuz I wanted to see how my move would be. I experienced this:The man who lives there who rides around in a little gray cart is very invasive. He seems to be a do-gooder doing no good. Instead of making you feel comfortable as you move in he starts telling you a bunch of rules of what you're not allowed to do even though you're not doing any of those things. He enters your units without permission start spouting out violations that aren't even there as if he's attempting to evict you before you even got in to the facility. He tells you to put your vehicle in a way that would create more of a traffic jam because he's concerned about a door that nobody went in or out of except for him all day but he described the amount of traffic that would be going in that door as if it was a swap meet entrance. Then as I'm cleaning up haven't done anything to the property just sweeping the inside of my truck he walks up with his broom and his dustpan in hand telling me about more violations that could occur but hadn't occurred. Putting me in a position to truly question this man's integrity. Here he stands with a broom and dustpan in hand so I asked him I don't have a dustpan in my hand would you like to help me make sure that this debris dispose properly in the trash. The man disputes I shall provide my own dust Span. So what he's really presenting to me even though he has a dustpan in his hand he's not truly looking to help people. He is really truly looking to regulate people in a dominant way. It is if we the customer are less than him not really knowing Who We Are. He seems to be more the problem than the solution. After repeating the question several times about the recognizing his possession of a dustpan in his hand it was around 5 times I had to bring this observation to his demeanor he finally reluctantly volunteered his dustpan services. I recommend even though the facility has quality units adequate size compared to the other extra space storage's areas closer to then , real numbers advertised as in footage. Even though it might be an inconvenience only come to attending the facility during the times the office isn't open. Because the man who lives there rides around in the cart really makes you feel unwelcome.

I came in today to check the prices since public storage was on a lunch break. I was greeted by Nick! He was very friendly and kind. He answered all of my questions and concerns. He gave us a tour and gave us all the information that we needed. He also gave us little tips here and there and he also made sure we were getting the best deal possible! He made our already great day even better because he is so good at his Job. Thank you Nick! And thank you Extra Space Storage!

My experience with Nick was awesome. Renting a unit was super easy and I was presented with 2 different rates based on the length of time I’d be renting for. In my case the internet rate was the best. The day I moved into my unit the hole for my lock was too small. Instead of trying to talk me into buying a new lock from him, Nick got his drill and drilled out the hole so I could use the lock I brought. Nick is the embodiment of customer service and made my experience a pleasant one.

we recently went to La puente office and was able to meet Nick Merrill the manager. Nick is a great guy. He knows our dilemma and was able to help us. He gave us the size of storage what we needed and have it available for us the day we opened our contract. Because of nicks good customer service and skills we decided to stay at this location. The place look so tidy all over the building. Nick maintained the location clean. I would recommend this location to my friends.

We came in without the intention of a commitment but when we spoke to the manager Nick, he gave us the best customer service we would not have expected. His demeanor and his welcoming approach really drew us to commit to this storage facility without even the thought of going with someone else. He deserves a promotion. Today was a great day because of Nicks service. Thank you Nick!

The manager of the facility, Nick, was SUPER-helpful when I wanted to change to a different-sized storage room. He went out of his way to make it easy for me to make the change, handle the paperwork, and move my items.He made sure the new storage room was freshly swept and the door works like a charm. Nick is truly efficient and professional -- and thoughtful as well. He's a great reflection of his company!
