Our experience was decent; my only true gripes come down to the slightly lagging service and the wait for the food. When the hostess seats you and says, "I'll send your server right over," one would expect just so. It was probably 10 minutes before we had any attention. Nonetheless, our server was pleasant. I had the avocado and citrus salad and added curry crusted salmon - the salmon was delightful, but the salad was borderline too citrus-y. My boyfriend enjoyed his Caesar salad with blackened shrimp.

After having an awesome meal at Breakfast by Salt's Cure we thought we would head to where it started for brunch. Sharing some menu staples with started with the chicken mole gravy. All the flavours were delicate and blended really well with nothing overpowering. Lovely outdoor space to enjoy food when the sun is shiny with nice decor on the front and interior of the building. After my new found love for them these biscuits were much more like the scones I am used to being from the UK with a sweet jam reminding me off the aspect of a cream team. For me the best plate was the pickled plate with the dark roasted pretzel. It's not your usual I would suggest but it was fantastic, the mustard sauce and pickled aspects of the dish paired so well with the doughy pretzel

Visited today with my 4yr old niece who LOVES pancakes and while the food was great the service was disappointing. We were sat and ordered with the manager, but once the food came no one, literally no one, came to check on us. Even while refilling coffee of the neighboring tables no one even offered to refill my coffee or our waters. Even while refilling the neighboring tables beverages.I flagged down the manager and asked for more coffee and then my niece needed to use the restroom. Since she’s 4yrs old and it was just us two, I took her to the restrooms (located in the back of the restaurant and opposite direction of the exit/ entrance) and left our plates of half eaten food and my car key on the table to indicate we’re still there. When we returned, 4min later, our table was cleared, even the food we were still eating. The neighboring table was a couple with a baby said “omg they thought you left abruptly, but forgot your car key” after saying I would never let my 4yr old niece use the restroom alone, which is why I left my key, and I couldn’t believe they cleared the table so quick having never checked on us. They were shocked and totally understood. The led me to believe that (1) there was an assumption we walked out without paying and (2) an discussion was had about us possibly walking out with other guest. I then simply asked for the check as we just wanted to leave. The manager offered us a free pancake, which I declined. At that point I didn’t feel comfortable receiving anything for free as I felt the assumption was clear and people thought we walked out on the bill. We simply paid and left. We ended up at another restaurant down the street to finish our Sunday pancake and went on with our day.

This little gem is terrific! I shared the Avocado and Citrus salad. I wanted to ask for some fresh cracked pepper, then I tried it - it was perfectly seasoned and so delicious! A beautiful opener to the meal. Then we had the pan-seared halibut with fingerling potatoes they were carmelized and perfect! The halibut was perfectly flaky and delicious! I really wish they would serve espresso-based coffees because that would be an amazing finish to a stunning meal. And the service is great too! Keep it up!

Stopped for dinner, found a pleasant if austere space, and had a very decent meal. Service was quick, courteous, and firendly. We started with housemade sour dough toasted beautifully with red bell pepper and preserved lemon spreads, which surprised us happily. Our entree, a crusted salmon, with peppercorns, shaved brussel sprouts, etc., was among the best deep-red salmon slices I have ever eaten, cooked to exactly a savory "medium." Dessert was a grapefruit pie with graham crust, whipped cream and savory sweet grapefruit rinds, extraordinary really. I ordered glasses of the house's "open wine," a pink grenache-syrah mix, and was again surprised by the high quality offered. $50 per person tip included. We are eager to return.

Food was good can’t complain about that but I will complain about the customer service, I realize it was a busy day but you don’t tell the customers to write down their order so you ring them out, that’s the job of a waiter. Also my friend did not get what she ordered and she was still charged for it. She ordered a platter and it did not come out with the rest of our food so we told the waiter to just cancel the order

Came here for lunch. Exxxxxxcellent chicken salad. Add this to a sandwich or salad and you're gonna have a good time. I chose salad. (I think the chopped?) Excellent greens. Like, super fresh as in just went outside and picked em from a garden fresh. Maybe they have one on the roof, I wasn't up there, I don't know. Anyway, great salad, great chicken salad and a solid drink list. I typically *hate* any alcoholic beverage lighter than watery mud, but this rosé was excellent for the occasion. Excellent all around.

I came for brunch on a Sunday morning, and it was crowded but not packed. There were immediate seats at the bar, so my partner and I sat there for full-service. Service was friendly and prompt. Orange juice was freshly squeezed, and you can see them squeezing it in front of you at the bar. The rating is mostly based on the food, which I wasn't a fan of because most of it was too salty. I ordered the All Star Breakfast, which is 2 eggs, 2 sausage patties, 2 pieces of bacon, 1 biscuit, and 2 oatmeal griddle pancakes. The sausage patties were extremely salty, and I just had one bite. The rest of the food was fine, but nothing really stood out. My partner ordered the Chicken sausage with Biscuits & Gravy, and that dish was also pretty salty. My favorite part of the meal was the Oatmeal Griddle Pancakes, and that WAS unique and different than other pancakes I've had at other restaurants. If you find yourself at Salt's Cure for brunch, I definitely recommend the Oatmeal Griddle Pancakes, which is worth a try and unique to the spot.
