I always love going here! Spent the day at Eastwood Beach, and even though the parking lot was fully packed and there were lots of people, i didnt feel like i was right on top of everyone...people did a good job keeping their distance and it felt pretty safe to be there...the concessions were also open for snacks and drinks in case you needed anything...entry was closed from 1:30 to 2:30 because it was full, but was open the rest of the time. Overall i had a great day with my teenage daughter and a few of her friends at a clean beach with clean water!

Amazing get away not far from my backyard! Absolutely love Stoney Creek Metropark. Been going since I was just about knee high in this world and now get to pass it down to other generations. Great park, let's keep it that way! Pick up behind yourself, don't liter, and keep an eye on what your children are up to.....this park will remain to be top notch if we follow just a few basic rules and apply them when visiting! Thanks staff, you guy's rock!!!

I love kayaking here. Rated 3 stars because a lot of the people who go there are super annoying and have zero commonsense. Like your driving past a park with kids and families just trying to enjoy the outdoors. They don't need to hear your mixtape blasting out of your lowered pos Honda while you blow out a massive cloud of vape. You're not that cool.

Feedback:
Stoney is the best place to go if you enjoy being out doors. You can find Everything there; from boat and kayak rentals, hiking trails, nature center, plenty of space for outdoor parties or gatherings, water front access all the way around the lake, two very clean and well kept beaches, one of which is extremely kid friendly with a park and giant blow up water slide.. Not to mention you can drop your own boat in the boat launches, bring your own kayaks, go fishing, bring your long board, roller blades and skate or bike the 6 miles around the lake, or simply have a picnic and relax in the shade on a blanket with your favorite book. I've been almost every where you can go at Stoney, but I've been going to the same spot for more than 15 years. My kid is growing up going to stoney every summer and we don't ever plan to stop. It's become a tradition, even amongst my friends. If you live in the tri-county area or near Shelby Twp and haven't been to Stoney yet, you're Seriously missing out!

One of the best park around Metro Detroit area. All the activities such as BBQ, Fishing, Kayaking,Golfing, Camping, Trails, Biking, Swimming are available. Well maintained and scenic. Cost Daily Pass-$10Annual Pass- $40
Feedback:
Staff didnt tell us over half the park and where we wanted to go was closed. We drove around for 45 mins trying to find parking for the only open beach after driving around and realizing there was signs everywhere blocking 70% of the park unless it was a trail The park had no response I had to drive to the office which was closed and call a number no one answered just for me to learn about the closures. Thanks for wasting my day off and my 10 dollars goad I worked so hard all week just to drive around the park for an hour
Feedback:
I was told by an attendant if I keep my receipts that I could put it towards getting an annual pass. I wasn't told I needed to keep the passes. They will not honor their own receipts with their name on it. When I called the office, the woman who answered was rude. I give one star for very poor communication and poor customer service.
Feedback:
Absolutely beautiful park!!!! Great for biking, hiking, walking or walking a dog, running, going to the beach, and many other fun activities. It is honestly better to buy a park pass instead of paying the daily entrance fee. I live less than a mile from Stoney Creek Metro Park and I love going to Stoney Creek and have watched the fireworks here which is a beautiful display. I have walked the trails of the park many times and they are well maintained and kept up. Also they have great sleding hills in the winter time when there is a lot of snowfall. A great park that is great for the community that everyone can use and benefit from.
Feedback:
One of the best part of living in this area is this park. It's huge, clean, with lots of activities. Fishing is pretty good, snow sledding in the winter, and great hiking trails. You can forget you're in a city when you're hiking the trails. I recommend the cross country/mountain bike trail to the West part of the park for hiking. Just North of the golf course.Pet friendly and also offer weekend camping in the summer. Which is a bit pricey but if you don't have the time to go up North for camping, it is a good option. Campsites are spread out enough that it doesn't feel like parking lot.If you live within 1 hour of this park, I recommend the yearly pass for $35. It's very worth it and it allows you to access all the Metroparks and although Stony Creek is the best one there are other excellent Metroparks.
