I went in today to buy a couple of gifts for family. It was the third time I have been there this week. I went to buy bracelets for my nieces before a trip to see them and asked if they had a box to put them in. He said they didn't have any. The case had a bunch of boxes in them. I called in and asked for the manager and it was the same person that was at the register. I have bought a lot of things from the store and given the people gifts from the company I work for on a couple of occasions and got a "sorry" and then silence. I am sorry that I have ever done business there. And I imagine that I will never get a response from this post. The problem with doing business this way is you lost a year round customer not a tourist during the summer.

This is the place to buy snowboard equipment. I have been getting my stuff there since 1994. Duke, his son Joe, and the wonderful staff know their skate, snow, and surf stuff. And the selection of Burton snowboard gear is just awesome. I was there yesterday and got my kid hooked up for the upcoming snow season and I still had money left when I walked out.I have been to other shops but I buy here. And ladies, they have half the store filled up with all that fashion stuff so you can have fun even if you don't ride.

Please disregard the 5 star rating, because, my name is "Duke", the owner of Surfside, and the only reason I'm righting this is in response to "Kianna's", and "Arianna's" one star rating that they gave our store, and the terrible experience they had while here. No excuses, I sincerely apologize for your negative experience. We have , at any time, between 7-20 people working the floor at our store. The people who are qualified to work in the Snow Dept.,(And there are about 10 of us who are,) go through weeks of training. At the end of 7 weeks, and hours of instruction, they are given a test. The test isn't easy, we want to make sure they are knowledgeable.Many people don't pass it. The people who don't pass the test, aren't allowed to work in the Snow Zone. Who ever told you, "I don't work in the Snow area", should have said, "I am not knowledgeable in the snow dept., but, let me get you someone who is." We have been in the snow biz for about 30 years. Our whole family works here. We are extremely passionate about it. Next time you are here, ask for Me, Joe, Robert, Julie, Brett, Jeff, either of our two Reilly's, Shay, or Tyrone. The most important thing to me is, not just making a sale, but, making sure you buy the right thing, with the right guidance and expertise. The above named people are super knowledgeable to help you along the way. Once again, I apologize regarding your negative experience in our store. The people who work at the Green Room are great people, and, I hope they helped you out

Every time I've went the customer service was spectacular. They greet you at the door and are always willing to help. Especially with Surf/Skate/Snow equipment - they really know their stuff (though if you were looking for surf equipment I would recommend another smaller shop like The Froghouse, but this place is good, too). The only downside are the prices! Most of the year they are outrageous, which is why I only recommend you go when there is a sale to save yourself from paying too much.

The worst customer service imaginable. That's 58 dollars no please. wanna bag - like its a huge deal! No thank you as the change is slammed down on the counter. I have a beard and long hair. I also have 50 employees ! Treated like dirt by a bunch of wannabe surfers getting paid $8.00 an hour. I would have easily spent $ 1000.00 if I was treated right! Avoid this plague like he plague - also rip-off prices!
