This bakery was AMAZING to work with. I wanted a cake on very, very short notice for my sister's elopement. Even though it was right before the holidays and the office was closed, Elaine worked with me to get it done. The situation was complicated by the fact that I live overseas and there is a great time difference, but the communication with Elaine was more than I could have hoped for. She even went out of her way with the cake delivery. My sister and her husband loved the cake (hot toddy flavor!!!) and said were stunned by how light it all was, while still being so incredibly flavorful. Thank you Sweet Cheeks for helping me pull off a sweet surprise!

Everything looks really pretty, but the coconut bar concoction I ended up getting weighed about as much as a brick and sat like a brick in my stomach.The wife really liked the lemon bar though, so there's that!

We have sweet cheeks create our baked goods for every special event! They recently made a gorgeous cake & the most beautiful iced cookies for our baby's 1st birthday party at the pumpkin patch. They captured our vision & the theme of the event just perfectly. And they are the most wonderful people to work with~ so responsive & sweet...we just love their whole team & can't wait to enlist them for our next event!

Thank you for the wonderful cake and cupcakes. The cake was simple and sweet and matched the decor and was also delicious to boot. You are right about making sure that the cake sits out for an hour before... it was like the cake tasted better and better as it settled from the cold. I will order from you again, so thank you for the wonderful service! The happy couple were thrilled and everyone though the cake was fake due to the beautiful design!

AWESOME !!!What an incredible cake for our Wedding by Sweet Cheeks Baking Company. The team did an amazing job taking my quick drawing and making a cake that was far better than what I had envisioned. It was fantastic. My husband loved the special surprise at the back of the cake with the Star Trek logo. It was the perfect treat for his geek-dom.Thank you everyone for all you did to make this cake the hit of the day. Oh and did I mention it was Yummy too!!! It was so good.

I cannot say enough great things about Elaine and her team at Sweet Cheeks! The cake design was absolutely stunning and everything we hoped for! We wanted something different yet elegant and classic and it was perfection! And most importantly the cake was delicious and all of our guests have been raving about it! Sweet Cheeks has been a favorite bakery of mine for years with my nephews birthday cake, cupcakes, friends bridal shower cake and now our wedding cake! And once again they far exceeded our expectations. I am a dessert person and not only the cake but all the mini desserts we ordered were SO delicious. The team is amazing to work with and is so patient in listening and working through every detail with you! They are true delight to work with and in my opinion the best bakery in San Diego! Lauren Rennie with Sweet Cheeks was the best. She helped us pick our cake flavors and turned my cake vision into reality. She was patient with me as I asked questions on the design and helped me come up with the prettiest cake. She was very responsive and easy to work with. Sweet Cheeks provided us with one of the best wedding cakes my husband and I have ever eaten and we loved all the flavors- we barely narrowed it down to 3 options for our guests. We can’t wait to eat our leftover wedding cake on our one year wedding anniversary!

I'm so happy to have chosen this business to make my dream wedding cake! They did just that. I went in with an idea and was left feeling confident that my dream wedding cake would be a reality! I wanted an elegant 7 tier all white with gold bands around each cake tier and sugar flowers draping the cake. The cake came out to be beyond my expectations! It was the talk of my wedding. I had two types of cake flavors 1. Banana walnut 2. White raspberry. The cake was freshly baked and tasted so light and fluffy. All of my 400 guests absolutely loved and enjoyed this masterpiece! Thank you for making my wedding so memorable and for working with me to make everything i wanted in this cake a true wedding dream!

Sweet Cheeks Baking Company is THE BEST! I work in the wedding industry so when it came time for me to get married I was lucky enough to have an inside track on the wedding cake circuit! I knew without a doubt that it had to be Sweet Cheeks! Our cake was a true work of art and we couldn't be more thrilled with how it turned out. We had an idea of what we liked but these guys are true artists and came up with the perfect design for us. The entire staff are the nicest people and it always feels good to spend your money hiring kind people. They offer a ton of options for flavors, we got a ton of compliments on our cake, and they happily worked with us on allergy requests.The entire process of working with them was super easy and fun. I can't recommend them enough!
