Feedback:

Went here and it was the worst mistake of my life! Had pain for what i thought was a kidney stone ! Well they never took not one drop of blood they did a simple urine test.... says everything is okay .... ( yea okay) i go to the pharmacy to pick up the generic for "flomax" a rx used for mens prostate, basically to help them pass a kidney stone. Well i took one and about 30 minutes later i literally thought i was going to pass out! Every side effect this medicine has is what i felt!!! I look up the medicine and come to find out its not even fda approved for women or children to take! I was appauled and highly offended to know they would risk the life of someone. I have never felt so weak in my life! I ended up having to go back to another er. terrible. terrible. terrible. Its always something with kaiser.

Thank you, Good People at Kaiser's Tacoma Medical Center. The excellent Dr. David Vetter recommended Dr. Larissa Coleman for an investigation, and she expedited a rapid intervention that has likely ended years of pain. Now, I have been telling everyone I can how great she is. Her leadership to quick action, along with comprehensive, patient-supportive information, and treatment planning, all the while taking good care of my comfort, is what every patient would desire, and every medical facility would hope for in the highest quality personnel. Thank you Kaiser, for ensuring that such good doctors are there for us, along with such wonderful support staff as nurses Elise and Patrice, both of whom were so friendly, expert and helpful. This all sets a very high standard- My commendations and thanks to you all.Ralph Philbrook, Anderson Island

It was my first time going to Kaiser Permanente and I was very impressed with everyone there. I was anxious to be seen that day and the Care Team on the phone was able to work me in. The team of staff there was so efficient they were able to see me sooner than my appointment time. Dr Gavin Cochran and his Nurse Kathy were great. Kathy had such a kind demeanor and was very understanding. Dr Cochran was very professional and patient. He answered all my questions and explained everything so thoroughly and on top of that he was very compassionate. I understand that in a medical clinic it can be busy and stressful for health professionals, but not once did they make me feel my concerns were unimportant. I highly recommend them.

This place is absolutely ridiculous!! Over three hours for wait time with one doctor on staff! My god I was trying to avoid going to Mary Bridge but damn I might as well of gone there to begin with. Urgent care 24-7 should have at least two on staff at all times not one! Never again...than the nurse never came in to do vitals after we came to our room, usually they do them twice. Than he(the nurse) told us we had a choice to leave or come back in the Morning, BUT you can’t leave unless you’ve been discharged by a attending physician on staff, which we had not seen so that wasn’t an option I’ll be sending a email to Member services about the horrible care we received for my two year old son.

I have only great things to say about the staff and the facility...the staff were wonderful, caring, and very kind. Dr. Choe, I cant say how much I appreciate your knowledge and expertise on knowing instantly what I was suffering from, thank you again! All area's of the facility I was in were immaculate. Nothing on the floors no dirty anything. Keep up the great work you do andTake care all!

I'd be dead prematurely and tragically without the support of all my KPWA providers. It's not just that; an emergency room visit in and out in record time... Live Physician online with video during triage within minutes of checking in... That's incredible.. . Physician, nursing, pharmacy and lab personnel going above and beyond thoroughly, often within 30 minutes in and out of the parking garage... All the positive changes with the KPWA application and web site... Messaging and appointment scheduling with the option for phone visits... And relatively speaking, almost instant care... I tip my hat and bow.. Namaste

Every time I come to the Tacoma Urgent Care I think about writing a review and today’s the day. So far I’ve been waiting 2 hours to be seen with no end in sight. This is after a 35 min drive to get here because this is the only location in the south end. Puyallup has walk in but they won’t see you for more than a sore throat it seems, which is useless. The quickest I have ever gotten out the door is 3 hours minimum which is ridiculous. If you can’t provide another obviously needed south end urgent care than contract out and let your customers see other providers. Will be switching my insurance next open enrollment and going to the cityMD by my house which has no more than a 5 min wait guaranteed. I would like to stress that my review has nothing at all to do with the staff, who are great. I actually feel bad for them for having to work in what must be an extremely stressful environment.

I've gone to their urgent care a couple times and the wait was under an hour both times. Everyone I speak to here is very friendly: the doctor's, receptionists, the people running the pharmacy. There's a parking garage directly under the building with elevators up to the reception area.

Feedback:

Went to the new urgent care kid clinic in July for swimmers ear. The service was great and super prompt. In fact we were in and out in less than 30 minutes with our prescription. However, the doctor had taken a small bit of ear wax out of my daughter's ear so that she could get a better view of the eardrum. She billed an office visit and earwax removal! We were charged $186 on top of our co-pay. After appealing this bill 2 times they have internally reviewed the bill and have sent us to collections. Unbelievable!!

The absolute worst experience ever. This facility proves why Black people don't go to the doctor. When we say something is wrong, doctors MOST OFTEN disregard and don't listen. You guys dont even ask the right probing questions. You form your opinions upon entering the room. And give post poor service. We come to you because you are the expert." You guys won't ever have to worry about me gracing this facility's door step.
